Vet Classics No Scoot

Anal Gland Information

There are two anal sacs, or glands, located on both sides of the anus. The anal glands produce a unique secretion that dogs use for marking their territory, and it identifies their sex, health and approximate age to other dogs. The anal glands excrete this fluid during defecation, too, and they should completely empty during the process. If they do not fully empty, it can create discomfort.

Firmer Stools

When stools are soft, they are not able to pass firmly enough against the dog’s anal glands to provide the necessary pressure for natural anal sac expression. No Scoot contains fiber to help produce firmer, more compact stools, to help the anal glands express themselves completely.

    Works great

By dogsrgreat on Mar 26, 2021

I decided to try this for my Dachshund who scoots and licks at his anal glands. Within a week of using it I noticed a huge difference. It has definitely made his stool bulkier, which in turn helps to express his anal glands naturally when he has a bowel movement. I have tried glandex powder in the past, but this actually works better. Love that I just throw the chew on top of his food twice a day and it's the first thing he grabs out of his bowl.

    Anal gland issues

By Ariel on Mar 22, 2021

My dog has been on this for about two months now our vet recommended and we have tried everything! Glanced to No Scoot and we weren’t seeing any results he would leak and it was foul smell ugh so we have been on these and so far pretty good! We had the vet tech pop in his rear just to see the progress and she said wow he doesn’t even need it literally has like nothing in there so we are satisfied so far and he also loves the taste of them!

    Love these

By Holly on Mar 24, 2021

I noticed a big difference with my dog after a few days of giving these. Way less gland issues and her poops are more solid. And this supplement doesn’t affect her sensitive skin.
