I’ve been trying to help a little one’s eyes clean prior to her grooming and wipes of all sorts with combs haven’t worked. This seems to be working the best. It’s an eye wash, but it seems to work better for her using a soft tissue and comb to get the dribbles out. After using and drying for several hours, her red eyes are toward white again. It’s been the easiest and most effective, but looking forward to a “beauty shop” day.
One of my cats has a recurring conjunctivitis problem due to severe allergies. Its random in both eyes (not at the same time) but often occurs during weather changes in fall and spring - we call it 'goopy eye' at my house. This is always in my cupboard and an immediate go to to clean out the stuff from his eyes. Believe me, it really does get stuff out from the eye (to the point it's gross sometimes). I usually pair this with the Veteticyn Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Pet Gel or the antibiotic ointment. Everything usually clears up in a few days and it seems to relieve some discomfort he has - he doesn't seem to want to rub his eye on anything. Highly recommend to any pet parent who has this problem with one of their pets.
My cat had conjunctivitis from an FCV infection. She was squeezing one eye shut from the discomfort. After the first application she was opening the eye a bit. After three days of using the drops three times per day, the redness was gone. I would definitely recommend.
I have a shitzu with eye problems and while this product did a good job of cleaning her eyes, it comes out way too fast. I barely squeeze and it shoots out which is not gentle for her eyes and it wastes product. I like it for what it does, however the design needs work!
My senior dog has dry eye. I have been trying different remedies. The eye gel seems to wash a lot of debris from her eye. Then I use the wash to soothe her eye. She doesn’t seem to bother her. It seems to be helping clear out the film that forms.
I have used this on my fur babies for years. Our newest rescue baby had tear stained and runny eyes. I started using Vetericyn eye wash right away. Her eyes cleared up within a month. Now almost two years later she still has no tear stains and no runny eyes. I still use them whenever her eyes look irritated and she does not struggle when applying the drops.
Both of my dogs seem to like the drops it washes out the lint etc but they seem to like the way it feels as they don't even try to "paw" it off. Only used it for a week so time will tell if it removes any stains in the fur.
I have 5 dogs and a parrot. I foster puppies as well so it saves me time and money.
My Little critter had something wrong with her eye it was swollen closed and if I touched it what she barely let me I opened it it was all blood red looking I used some previous eye wash I had but I was running out of it and it wasn't working I got the better soon and I just blasted it in there once or twice other than the next day her eyes open till and seems to be fine now as with all veterans and stuff it's pretty expensive and it's hard to afford it but it does work really well
I bought this along with the same brand eye gel, and Terramycin. My kitty feels like a brand new man. Amazing as always, Chewy; thank you!
