How can you tell the difference between a fungus or ear lice in cats?
Answer by • Mar 21, 2018
Ear lice often look like dandruff to the naked human eye. Fungus will look like black or yellowish discharge with redness or swelling of the ear flap or ear canal.
My cat shook his head before I was done pouring this into his ear and it’s all over his fur and he’s been cleaning himself. I can’t find anything about what happens if he ingests it; should I be worried?
Answer by • Mar 30, 2018
It is recommended to allow the pet to shake their head after application, then gently clean inside of ears with a clean towel, along with wiping any excess fluid. It is safe for the pet to assume normal grooming habits. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
