Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Hot Spot & Itch Relief Spray, 8-oz spray

I got this because my dog wouldn't stop licking her paws (she has allergies and anxiety) and she was getting a infection on her feet because of it. After reading a TON of reviews, I decided on this one and am glad I did. It seemed to help after the first day! She immediately stopped licking as much (not completely but progress not perfection right?!) It helped the bacteria that she was causing and seemed to help soothe her pain as well. The only thing I don't like is the spray nozzle, you end up wasting a lot of product, otherwise I would've given 5 stars! But it's definitely not a deal breaker as the product itself works great! Will be keeping this around.

My German Shepherd constantly scratches in the winter. Tried moisturizing shampoo and extra oil in his food. Nothing helped until I sprayed him thoroughly with this, and combed it through. I use it twice a day and really rub it in. I need to order more. He acts like a puppy afterwards(he’s 8) He feels great.

Definitely works on our 15 yr old female cat who has had a continuous problem with biting herself and causing multiple skin irritations. We have taken her to the vet numerous times and spent hundreds of $ on tests and steroid and antibiotic injections which work only for a limited time. Our son found this on the Chewy site and we decided to try it. Immediate improvement and no ill effects!

This product works really well when used as directed. My cat has horrible seasonal skin allergies, and this really helps to heal the areas where she tears her skin. I had trouble trying to spray it around her, so I soaked gauze with it, and then blotted the affected areas.

My 14 year old cat continually licked and chewed off her fur on her legs and abdomen. Have not been able to identify the source of the itching and vet has not been helpful. This spray is easy to administer and works quickly. I applied 4x day the first week and 2x day the second week in conjunction with homeopathic drops. My cat stopped biting immediately and the sores began healing up right away. This produce worked so well, I bought 2 more. The sound of the spray bottle scared my cat initially.

Bought this as well as a protective boot to cover my dogs paw to promote quicker healing from licking caused by allergies in his diet as well as grass. I think it did speed up the healing as well as anesthetize the area so that he would forget about it and allow it to heal. It is a spray but really doesn’t go on messy and absorbs quickly.

The spray smells great, and seems to help dry and clear skin that's been inflamed. It hasn't eliminated the itching, but may be helping to reduce my poor boy's itchiness. Shipping was lightning fast.

I got this because during my hospital stay my cat Flower (who has major separation anxiety) scratched her neck until she caused a wound. She doesn’t like to be separated, though she was being fed and cared for. I ordered this when I got home, and it soothed the need for her to continue scratching and allowed her to scab and heal. I also covered the wound lightly. It’s almost completely healed now, and growing the fur back. It also works well to clean her ears as she has always gotten itchy buildup in her ears. My vet was having me clean them with a dry q-tip which she hates. A bit of this sprayed on a cloth helps sooth her ears and she scratches much less.
