Don't buy it
My dog suffers from allergies and itchy skin so I bought this shampoo hoping to relieve his skin. After looking at the ingredients, the labeling is very misleading. This shampoo contains ingredients known to dry out dogs skin, cause irritation as well as blistering and make itching worse. It also contains ingredients that can cause organ toxicity and ingredients linked to cancer. I am very disappointed and would not buy this product again.
So good I use it too
Love this shampoo. It doesn’t have perfumes and conditioners that cause itching. My unscented shampoo was discontinued. Other brands caused itching. Even the one recommended by my dermatologist made me itch. This shampoo has been great for my allergy prone pup and me. I have to bathe my pup weekly because of contact dermatitis. That is hard on his fur. This shampoo has improved the condition of his fur and skin because it is so gentle. Negative reviews here say it does not lather. It does if there is enough water. I dilute the shampoo. Diluted shampoo is gentler on hair and skin. When it is diluted it lathers as well as or better than any shampoo I have used.
doesn’t work
one of my cats has been very itchy lately and i switched this shampoo with hopes of it helping her but it dried her skin out and did not help with itching..maybe even made it worse

I tried this shampoo and my dog is still scratching more so then before I used it. Did not like it at all
Wrong shampoo :(
Sadly I ordered the wrong shampoo. Blu needs "hot spot & itch relief" , one that's medicated and helps him with his allergies. Hopefully I can have it exchanged :)

Great shampoo that lathers with some water. Doesn't affect my doodles sensitive skin.

A great choice!
This shampoo was both gentle and effective. My dog, who had never seemed particularly dirty or smelly in the past, eventually developed some kind of oily buildup on his fur along with a noticeable and somewhat unpleasant aroma, so I decided it was time for his very first bath. I lathered and rinsed him twice, and I'm quite pleased with the results. Once he dried off, his fur felt nice again – soft and not at all dried out. Also, as expected, there is no lingering scent from this shampoo, and my dog passes the sniff test now. Quick tip: Remember to take off the seal under the cap *before* you start washing your dog. I had already gotten mine wet before I realized it was there, and I was unable to remove it by hand. Instead, I had to leave my dog, who was still feeling sort of scared about being in the bathroom at that point, to take care of it (ended up poking a hole in the seal with a knife and then pulling it off with pliers).
Excellent product
Just a little of this excellent shampoo goes a long way, and seems very well tolerated. Nice clean dog!
WOW! Thank God for itch relief!
I just wanted to write and share how surprised and happy I am over my allergy ridden, baby girl's hair and itch relief. I have been spraying her with diluted cortizone daily and her still scratching; her coat was somewhat shabby. Wow! I bathed her yesterday evening with this new shampoo....and she has a shiny soft smooth brown coat and is not scratching! I've tried like 10 shampoos, and this one is a blessing! Thank you so much!
