Vetgood Basic Protective Dog Boot

I’m sad to see the negative reviews because this was the best purchase ever! I know why those reviews were bad—it’s because they didn’t understand how to measure and purchased boots that were way too large. I have 2 large Golden Retrievers and I typically purchase XL in everything, but I read the reviews and realized the boot size depends on the bandage/cast size. I saw a 5 star review mentioning that they purchased a size small for their Labrador—which made me think that’s the size we would probably need to cover Molly’s bandage (she had some surgery on her right paw & needs to keep the bandage clean and dry) So I ordered small and it is perfect!! Works well to promote healing of cut on my dogs leg, velcro could be a little better quality, but I am sure my dog chewed them off. Had to use self adhering tape to hold on his leg. Ordering another one due to Gunney chewing on the boot to lick his sore.

Using size small for 70lb lab with layers of soft bandage covering surgical wound. It is waterproof and is working much better than IV bag she was sent home with. Soft grip provides slip resistance and no pressure points on wounds. I'm sure if worn for long walks on pavement it would not hold up but works for the purpose it is designed for. Thank you VETGOOD for producing. Wish more Vets stocked it vs sending us home with used IV bags.

Not worth the money. I ordered a medium for my 80# lab. She can pull it right off. I have to put tape on top of it. It twists around and is more annoying than anything. Doesn’t stay up, etc. I needed this to cover up a hot spot and we are using it for that but every time she makes progress on healing it she gets it right back off...we still have to have an ace bandage taped underneath for in case she pulls it off again.

i tried it for a few hours, it easily kept sliding off my dogs leg. if i go by measurements, the smaller sizes wont fit my dogs paw.

Still gets wet on the inside. I had to blow dry my dogs bandages and the inside of the boot to dry it. The wetness seeped in. Was not happy about the price that I paid and still got wet.

needed this for after my dogs surgery. It kept his bandages from getting wet and soiled on his walks.

I am so glad Vetfood makes this protective boot! The sizing guide was easy to use and it fits our whippet's rear foot perfect. It holds up to 24/7 use and his bandage stays dry even in the rain. I would advise to get the X boot for walks because the added rubber tread allows for better stability and durability
