    I read the reviews and saw how much dogs love them. One I saw the price it was a no brainer. SO much cheaper than Greenies. My dogs went insane for greenies. It was like they were the best treat in the world. They were NOT happy when I switched. The definitely have a strong mint smell. At first they I read the reviews and saw how much dogs love them. The definitely have a strong mint smell. At first they wouldn’t eat them. I guess they just had to get used to them, because they love them now. They don’t go insane for them, but they’re happy to get them & with the price difference, I’m good with that. I like that they have nodules on them to help with teeth scaling. I’ll stick with these. … more

    Dog goes crazy

    Our lil guy (he’s not little, he’s a 40 pound mutt) goes crazy for these. I think they’re his favorite treat. So for that, I like them. And I like that they last a bit longer than a regular biscuit. However, I have noticed a few things about giving dental type treats to our dog: 1. And I like that they last a bit longer than a regular biscuit. However, I have noticed a few things about giving dental type treats to our dog: 1. They don’t really help breath that much. I do think they assist keeping his teeth clean. 2. They are not easily digested. I’ve seen spots of the minties... like solid chunks... in our dog’s poo. He could be eating them too fast but I don’t see this with any other treat or food he eats. 3. On the digestion topic, our dog was having softish stools for a while and needed to firm them up to help with his anal gland expression. Our vet suggested not giving him a minty a day, maybe do three a week. In combo with eating more fiber and eating less of these, his digestion has improved. 4. They are high calorie for just one small treat. Overall, I suppose I’ll keep these on hand but use sparingly. … more
