    Worked Like FortiFlora

    By on

Our rescue is prone to gas, diarrhea, and a strangely noisy tummy. Our vet suggested we try FortiFlora, and it worked great. This "Advita" supplement worked for our dog exactly like FortiFlora at a much lower price. She had zero issues switching to this brand. This particular probiotic in combination with Dr. Mercola digestive enzyme supplement has given her a completely normal tummy!

Wish it came in smaller size

    By on

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. Mable sniffed it out immediately in her food and would not eat. I tried it several times unsuccessfully. It would be great if they offered Advita, or any supplements in samples, so you could try it before committing to 30 packets.

    Great product!

    By on

This is a welcome, much less expensive, alternative to Purina's Fortiflora. My dog is in congestive heart failure and takes many more medications than he ever has in the past, so I want to do what I can to support his digestive system, and this is the bomb!

    Dogs seem to love it

    By on

I can't personally answer but dogs seem to enjoy when I add to their food. And it seems to keep them going. We add a raw egg to their food a couple days a week too.

    Advita Probiotic Is Great!

    By on

My dog, Megan, has been on this for a little over a week and she just seems to have more energy and is more alert. She is going on 13 years old and before starting Advita, she seemed to be very uninterested in things. Now she is more active and her digestion has really been a change for the better. We have been very satisfied with this probiotic and we hope for continued success with our sweet Megan!

    Probiotic that works!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

First I tried the Probiotic by Purina, and it worked well for my Bi-Blu Sheltie with Pancreatitis. Advita works just as well, at a much more reasonable price. The powder with the Advita brand is very fine. The best way to use it is to shake the powder in the envelope down to the botton, and then cut the little packet almost in half, then put it right over their food. That way, you don't loose any powder in the air, all goes in their bowl. Stir it in his food, and he didn't even taste it. Good product!

    Senior pup

    By on

My senior pup has reoccurring Pancreatitis flare ups, this product seems to help alleviate some of her issues. We originally got it from the vet after her first Pancreatitis attack & have put her back on it permanently after her second attack in 2 months. Since then she has not had a flare up & seems much happier. The price on Chewy is wonderful as well.

    Great Product!

    By on

This is the same stuff our vet gave us when our dog was having bad diarrhea spells, and it worked great even after the antibiotics were gone! Now that we found the cause of that issue and she’s back to normal, this is still good to have on hand for food transitions and occasional tummy troubles.

My GSD pup ( 8mos) has had loose stools for about a month now , we tried rice , bananas, chicken and after using this for 3 days, his BM's are much better and he is sleeping all night now, prior to this, we were getting up at least twice a night letting him out for loose stools, now we all get a full night sleep. Thanks

    Works well, cheaper than competitors

    By on

I’m using a probiotic every day to help my dog with her food allergies along with fish oil. We had been using Purina but it’s pretty expensive so I was looking for a comparable replacement. After reading the reviews & doing some research I settled on this. We’ve been using it for about a month. I believe it’s working just as well as the Purina was & I can get 3 months worth of this for what I was paying for 2 of Purina. The only think I don’t like is the packaging. I have to cut it open because the slightest jarring of the envelope and you have powder everywhere. It does seem to be a lot “lighter” than the Purina so be careful when you open it or it ends up every where.
