VetOne Insulin Syringes/Needles U-40 29 Gauge x 0.5-in are prescribed by your vet for the injection of U-40 (40 units per ml) insulin in your diabetic pet. U-40 syringes are the syringe size that is recommended to use with ProZinc insulin. However, it’s important to note that more than one concentration of insulin exists, so be sure that the syringe used matches the type of insulin prescribed for your pet.
UsesSyringes are primarily used to administer insulin to dogs and cats.
Precautions
Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

Vetone Syringes U-40
By June on Apr 18, 2021
Syringes are same as I purchase at my vet. The price is the same. I would suggest Chewy offer a box of 100 at a lesser price than the 10 unit price.

Flimsy and unusable syringes
By Kevin on Apr 14, 2021
These syringes are so poorly made that they usually bend and break just trying to insert into the vial. Do not order these.

Very reliable syringes
By Cheri on Mar 28, 2020
This is the brand recommended by my vet. As with reviews of other products, there are times the needle bends, but that is very seldom. The cost is on par with products of a similar quality. While the extra plastic seems a bit overboard, I can appreciate the protection it can add.
