    For large hands, dry method

By RoRo on Sep 16, 2021

This tablet dispenser may work for others but it didn’t work for me. It was too long (7.75”) for my hands; hence, the tablet didn’t make it to the back of my kitty’s throat. I found a shorter (5.9”) more intuitive one on another site with over 2,200 4-star reviews that can draw water and push water with the tablet to make it easier fir my kitty to swallow the tablet (Kruuse Buster Pet Tablet Syringe with Soft Tip. I did notice another similar one on chewy but I was hesitant to purchase due to the lower # of reviews and rating.)

takes practice, a bit large for cats & kittens, works with size 3 & 4 capsules

By Stef on Sep 18, 2021

One way to improve this might to be offer a shorter version. This size is probably easier for dogs, but for cats it's too long. I've tried different pillers that were shorter, but designed slightly differently, but those didn't work for me. This one fits the size 3 and size 4 pet capsules I use. The other, shorter pillers didn't fit them, or the rubber was too sticky and wouldn't dispense the capsule properly.

    EASY TO USE

By ROCKY on Aug 27, 2021

THE VET GAVE MY HUMANS ONE OF THESE TO GIVE ME MEDS. IT WORKED SO WELL THEY WANTED MORE SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS THING TO BE RELOADED WITH ANOTHER MED I HAVE TO TAKE, WORKS A LOT BETTER THAN STICKING THEIR FINGER IN MY MOUTH! DAD HAD A LOT OF BITE MARKS UNTIL HE GOT THESE.

A bit stiff, and the opening is small.

By Philharmonic on Jun 9, 2021

It does it's job but the opening for the pill or tablet is smaller than the previous version we had. It still grips the capsule but it looks as though the capsule could fall out (it doesn't though) as we can't get it all the way in to the rubber receptor. When using it, you have to press the plunger quite firmly as it seems as though it is catching on something in the tube, but again, no problem, as long as the pill is positioned properly prior to 'injecting'. Otherwise we are quite happy with this item.

    Handy item

By SPed on Mar 27, 2021

I wish I had known about these sooner, before my cat bit my fingers with her needle-like teeth. They work well, there is a learning curve though. It helps to get the pill further back in her mouth so she can’t spit it out. If she turns her head too much I may push the plunger too soon and she can get it to the side of her mouth and then out. I need my husband to help me hold her. I’m glad I discovered these.

    Works great.

By dogmom on May 15, 2021

Love this item. Makes giving pills so much easier. No matter how I tried to hide a pill, he always refused it. This pill pusher was quick and easy. Pill was swallowed before he knew it.

    Good Piller

By Jessie on Mar 10, 2021

Really like this piller. I appreciate the soft tip (and I'm sure my cat does too) as well as it's thin design which makes it easier to both insert into my cat's mouth as well as get it farther back into his throat so he can't spit the pill out. I have not tried this piller with a dog. The only complaint I have is that some of the smaller pills can get stuck in the tip when I try to eject them due to the ejector part being rounded instead of flat. I would still definitely recommend this product.

    An inferior copy

By Steve on Mar 29, 2021

I purchased these to replace a similar pillar that is getting old and worn. The original uses a natural rubber tip which consistently holds pills of almost any size securely enough to get them into our cat's mouth. These replacements use a silicon tip which does not hold the pill securely, unless the pill is just the right size and shape. This results in the pill falling out as I try to pill our cat, which means it takes several attempts to get the pill into our cat. This irritates both the cat and me and frequently ruins the pill, requiring me to get a fresh pill. The silicon tip very likely will last longer than the natural rubber tip, but it doesn't work well, so longevity is immaterial. Recommended by vet tech, BUT....

By Betsy on May 27, 2021

This piller does not hold tiny pills, so it won’t work for my cat’s daily 1/4 Cerenia tablet. I also did not like having to order a packet of TWELVE! Guess the Humane Society will be happy to get the rest, after I keep one for possible future use.
