Recommended by our vet after dental surgery on our 16 year old lab mix. Helped her heal and improved her breath. Our 4 year old chocolate lab is getting it too!!!

Love a product that will help keep my senior guys mouth clean. He has a few teeth that normally the vet would pull but due to his age (16) he is not a candidate for anesthesia. I use a little on a wash cloth and wipe his teeth and gums. I do wish they made it in a gel formula that would be easier to handle. This is a great product and much cheaper than the same kind I was purchasing from my vet for 25.00.
As usual, dogs don't like it

It is very strong. Dogs hate it in their mouth. I have to apply with my fingers. However, it takes away the foul odor.
My two fur babies do not like

It does help their breathe when I force them to let me use this in them. My two cats hate the smell and taste. I’m glad it worked for others but my cats did not like.

I got this from my vet and I was surprised it really works and helps breath and gums.
Repugnant, overwhelming minty smell
on Jun 14, 2020
This dental rinse has the same ingredients as two previous brands of canine dental rinse I've bought, but were no longer for sale here.
It has an overpowering mint smell--overpowering to the two humans in our home, so imagine how much more so to a dog, with superior olfactory sense.
Our dog now RUNS from us when we get it out, and I am considering actually throwing it out (but I hate to waste). It is quite repugnant.
My cats hate it.

My cats do not like having me hold them down to apply it and they also hate the minty taste. They should not have mint flavored for an animal.
Bought by Mistake

I'm not sure if I selected the wrong item or what but there is no way my cat would ever let me administer this to her.

Our dog has EPI. Dry mouth and bacteria accumulation go along with this immune mediated disease. We have been using an oral rinse after each tooth brushing since she was a puppy. at 9 1/2 years she still has pearly whites and will probably never have to go under anesthesia and have her teeth cleaned. Also keeps her breath clean. The rinse we used for years went out of production so we switched to this one. I don't like that it doesn't come with an applicator tip like the other one did. This is more difficult to apply without drowning her. Fortunately we had kept one of the old bottles so we can put the tip on the new product. But this rinse seem to be doing the job.
smells super clean!

ok.. as a human this is appealing to me!I even tried alittle :\ before to make sure i knew what i was giving my girls. super minty clean-sterile smell. To my girls...they SNEEZED alot, lol not sure what ingredient would make them both react this way and they hate mint. My one boston had a tooth extraction and i wanted her mouth to stay clean that was my reason to the purchase. there is no way a animal would let you squeeze this stuff in the mouth had to put it on a cotton ball and rub across teeth and gums. DEF make breath CLEAN:)
