Use it to give my cat medication
By Jules on Feb 8, 2021
My older Norwegian Forest cat has to take hypertension and another pill that aids him with bowel movements. So he gets it mixed with the gel that also contains calories and vitamins since he is also on an appetite stimulant. Both seem to work really well and he has been on them for about eight months. He never seems to throw up anymore plus doesn’t seem to mind the malt flavor. Trying to tuna next. What many people don’t realize is also the angle of their pet food dishes. Imagine standing up, bending over and having to eat off of your plate on the counter. It would be hard to get down your esophagus properly and cats with elevated dishes as I have now seen with mine almost completely stop vomiting My older Norwegian Forest cat has to take hypertension and another pill that aids him with bowel movements. All 3 kitties love it
By Mainedash on Feb 11, 2021
Got this for 1 yr old Chip when he started having hairball problems. Tried placing it on the roof of his mouth, per suggestion of vet, so he'd have to eat it. That created a huge battle. Next, I tried squeezing a line of it on a popscicle stick and he immediately started licking it off. His two brothers (who don't experience hairballs) have tried it and also like it. Now they are jealous when Chip gets his daily popscicle stick treatment. It definitely seems to help with hairball control.

Disappointed
By Katsu on Feb 18, 2021
My vet gave me this to use after my cat had been in the hospital for 2 nights with constipation problems. I've recently tried to give it to him through a syringe because he will not touch it. When I put it on his paw the first day, he starred at it, started walking and it just plopped on the floor. Its super sticky, messy and has not done a thing for my cat's pooping problem. Very disappointed.

I'm not going to give this to my cat
By Gen4 on Feb 10, 2021
Why is there corn syrup in a "medication" for a cat, who is an obligate carnivore? Why is there molasses AND corn syrup in a cat product? Cats cannot even taste anything sweet, what is the point of using ingredients like these? Don't give this stuff to your cat if you love them. I got some Omega 3 fish oil instead.

Chewy to the Rescue
By Thomas on Feb 12, 2021
The product came and, after a struggle with Thomas, the deed was done. I guess the product was/is fine. The problem is, he didn't have a fur ball as suppected...he has asthma. Who would have thought that? As usual Chewy did as you are suppose to and your quick service is appreciated.

helps cat poop
By caro on Feb 16, 2021
My cat will lick it off the tube a little bit but then seems to get overwhelmed by it quickly, he licks it for a couple seconds and then walks away. Sometimes if he has a little more of it his poops get kind of wet, so I give it to him when he’s a little constipated...

Wispy Whiskers not to keen on the gel
By StorageQueen173 on Jan 29, 2021
As soon as I opened the tube he ran. I eventually was able to dab some on his front paw and of course he licked. The next time I got it on his back paw but he was hopping around like he was wounded. He eventually licked it off. Not sure if this will be something I care to battle.

My Cat Loves it!
By Diane on Feb 8, 2021
My cat does not eat treats so I thought getting her to take this might be a problem, but she willingly licks the gel right from the tube. She actually comes running when she sees the tube. And she hardly ever has problems with hairballs anymore.

She hates it
By Debg on Feb 8, 2021
If on paw she wipes it off on the rug. If on her nose (and good luck doing that) she rubs it off on your pants, the rug etc. i even tried to put it in her treats. Would not eat them. I am sure it is a fine product but not for this cat

Smells awful, cats won’t touch it
By Dfwgolden on Nov 30, 2020
I first purchased this product when my cat was diagnosed with megacolon. It was advised I add this into his daily diet to help lubricate. That cat would eat ANYTHING. Except this. I tried putting it on his feet, nose, straight into the mouth, into food, on top of food and in treats. NOPE. He passed not long after his diagnosis. A new special needs kitten fell into my lap the same day. Male orange tabby same as my last cat. Apparently male orange tabbies are the most prone to the condition so I spoke with my vet and he said when he was at least 10 weeks to try him on this. This kitten who will eat lettuce out of my salad won’t touch this stuff either. It smells terrible no cats in my house I first purchased this product when my cat was diagnosed with megacolon.
