Questionable ingredients

I am extremely concerned about the inactive ingredients. (1Cane Molasses, Corn syrup, Gelatin By-products, Malt Syrup, sodium benzoyl, tuna flavor) excuse me, but isn't sugar detrimental to cats? I've searched trying to find out if these ingredients actually have sugar content but have had no luck getting a definite answer online. I dont want to risk them becoming diabetic. If that happens they suffer greatly!! My cats don't like this stuff, either. It makes a mess. The active ingredients also make me weary. Full of petrolatum and gmo toxic stuff. Also there is a warning that its not for human consumption to keep out of reach of children and animals and if overdose occurs to contact a health professional immediately. I am not giving this to my cats. Instead, just some coconut oil should do the trick. I want to tell you all that cats just need meat. The chicken you eat is perfect. My cat was getting bad spasms in his tailn he was really suffering, then I started feeding him plain ol cooked chicken and he is all better now! No more hairballs either. Meat has everything they need thats all we need to feed them. My cats are 16 and 15 years old and doing quite well.

Good, but a little runny

This is the second hairball supplement I have tired and my pinky cat liked this a lot more than the other one we tried. But it is a little runny so it's hard to get a slow moving cat to lick it off your finger before it runs down. Also the smell alone will not entice this cat, she needs to taste it first. I will still be using it because it is effective with getting the hair to pass. Just need to be careful when administering it.

kinda works but a pain to use.

My cat straight up wont eat it by itself. So I tried squeezing it into one of those delectable push up pate treats and mixing it up inside. my cat goes crazy for them normally, but with the laxatone mixed in she ate a bit, then didn't like it cause it wasnt the same flavor. So then i tried mixing the laxatone, with the delectable pate treat, WITH her food on a plate. It kinda works sometimes but she mostly eats a few chunks and refuses. What finally worked was first putting a bit of laxatone into her bowl, adding water and mixing it till its no longer a paste, mixing in the food, then mixing in the delectables pate treat. Poor baby was throwing up food/hairballs 1-3 times nightly and noticably loosing weight so glad i got it to work but will probably shop around for other treats she will willingly eat.

helps with hairballs

My older cat loves to groom my younger cat which results in a lot of hairballs. This is the only thing that has helped

Great product

We have a special needs kitten, who gets this every morning. She looks forward to her treat, knows where it is kept and actually begs for it! This has added more help to her digestive issues and we have had no more problems.

I love this product...

I use it for my two aging kitties, Stanley and Ollie. I mix a bit of laxative in with it for their slow constitutions....

hairballs

this product rocks! my cat was having hairballs every other day, took him to vet and they said he looked perfectly healthy and to try this. give it about two weeks to be in full effect, he hasn't had a hairball since! he also loves this stuff so much he goes nuts when i bring the tube out and licks it right out of a measuring spoon.

Cat would not touch it

Vet recommended this to help my cat with constipation but she would not touch it. Didn’t work for me unfortunately

Cat Won't Eat It

Its not the Laxatone's fault, but my cat won't lick it, which is disappointing, but he is finicky.

Hairball Help

This product seems to help. My cat develops a horrendous hack when trying to get rid of hairballs. After using this product, the hacking is gone.
