It is working for my persian, work it into the fur

    By on

I have a 7 year old who had 3 issues with stones in 4 months, very scary. He let us know he was sick before he was blocked and we haven't had to have surgery. Since I've been giving him methigel (almost one tube so far) he hasn't had a problem and is happy and peeing great. He is a very picky eater and would just fling it off his paw (what a mess) until our vet told me to rub it into the fur. That is the trick, he now eats it off and seems to like it. We call it his 'hand medicine' and as long as I work it well into the fur he is ingesting it all. I will give 5 stars if it keeps working. Also I may switch to a powder version to mix in with his food.

    By on

the good is my picky cat loves it, the bad is its full of sugar which isn't healthy. the good , it seems to be working. the bad, the recommended dose is much too low and he got crystals again. vet says 3x as much and that is working but makes it pricey

    Cat loves the taste

I got this for my male cat who has had numerous trips to the vet for blockage and crystals. He eats it right up and I hope it will benefit him in not producing crystals anymore.

    Our Chihuahua loves it!

    By on

Our 11 year old chihuahua develops urinary stones and has needed surgery to remove blocked stones twice in his penis. His vet has recommended this and he took to it without issue and he’s been on it for over a year and we have not had any major issues with his urinary tract since then. He’s prone to stones since his first surgery and we’ve tried everything to remedy the situation, and it seems this is the best solution. It’s a quality product that make the urine more acidic and it’s better than spending $800 at one time to cut our dog open due to genetics.

    A must for Male cats

    By on

My Persian almost died from crystalized urine bc cats don't drink as well as dogs and Males need can food more then people realize, my Artemis had to have emergency surgery he was completely lethargic but they didn't have this particular nutrical at the time bc it was almost 20 years ago but I would suggest anyone especially with a Male cat to use this and its alot cheaper than a 900 dollar vet bill.

have to resort to give it on his paw, and than he jumps around for sometime before cleaning it out. Otherwise he would not take it at all:(

    Works as expected

    By on

I needed a way to acidify my dog's urine slightly because she was forming struvite crystals. This is a simple, inexpensive addition to her diet and she likes the flavor. Plus, it works!

    My old boy likes this

    By on

This product seems to be working for my old faithful cat Buddy. He is 22 years old and struggles with urinary crystals. I’ve been mixing this in with his wet food from Proplan that is for cats with urinary issues and he seems to be doing much better these last 2 weeks. I put it in his food and mix it up so he doesn’t see it and he gobbled it up. This is a win for us and will give us more time together before he crosses the Rainbow bridge.
