Can I give my dog pro-pectalin gel with meals, or does it have to be given a certain amount of time away from meals?
Answer by ChewyMay 12, 2018
You can give this before or after a meal, it just has to be administered orally every 8 hours or as directed by your vet.

Can this be used to stop vomiting also?
Answer by ChewyJun 13, 2018
The unique combination of ingredients in this supplement helps safely stop diarrhea, soothe irritated intestines and restore the normal balance of intestinal bacteria. It may not be effective towards vomiting.

Can I give this to my cat along with the probiotic capsule that I had purchased?
Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2017
It is not recommend to mix this product with probiotics, as this is a temporary supplement to aid in help resolve diarrhea caused by stress, antibiotic administration, change in diet or other simple, non-life threatening forms of diarrhea.

Works great

I have two huskies that sometimes have tummy issues, so I bought this to help them deal with that and it works great! You don't have to push the plunger that hard and the measurements are on the stick so you can make sure you're properly dosing your pet. This cleared up a one off bout (after eating a leaf) in one of my pups. I can't recommend it high enough.

better size and price than my vet offers

It works. I have a cat that gets occasional tummy flare-ups and diarrhea. She doesn't really like the flavor of this so I put it in her wet food w a little tuna juice and she takes it. I do this for at least 3 days and it works!!!

Pit mom recommends for senior dog

Great product. I have a senior dog ( nearly 16 years old, 75 pound pitty mix). He’s been suffering from frequent diarrhea due to old age , cancer etc. After his last cancer removal surgery he really struggled with diarrhea despite trying “ all the right things”. Vet suggested this product. It took a few weeks of use to stabilize him. Now I give just 5 cc once a day—- has been having normal poop—- thankfully. I give it to him with a bit of food — laps it right up . Cheaper on Chewy— our Vet charges 60 bucks for two tubes which is about the price for three tubes on Chewy.

Vetoquinol cured this issue

I tried everything I knew to stop the diarrhea, pumpkin, coconut, rice, but nothing worked. Two doses of this cleared up the problem.

little bears mama

I would definitely recommend this product. My cat didn’t like the smell or taste. I had to put it on numerous snacks to get him to eat it. It definitely helped!!

Pro Pectalin

I give the gel to my cat but he hates the taste. So I have to mix it in tuna juice. Then he'll eat it all. It starts working pretty fast and after the second dose his diarrhea is gone. I am just wish they would make it taste better.

Finally!!!

Tried a different brand before this one and it didn’t work at all. My pup has been on this for 3 days and it is finally working!

WOW-it worked!

Many trips to the vet for tummy issues with our senior. Blood work all good. No meds or prescription food seemed to help. Thought we would try this cuz why not? Two days in and 100% better. Perky boy back and so is his appetite. So grateful.

Works great!

Prescribed by our veterinarian for our 1.5 year old pup. Works great! After three doses diarrhea stopped. Nice to have on hand when she gets it again! She likes the flavor also.
