We recently learned that my Lab is allergic to grass and giving her an Omega 3 tablet may help improve the results of her immune therapy. I spent a lot of time looking into the various brands/types (capsule or liquid) after reading several reviews about dogs dying or getting seriously sick. I called my vet for some recommendations and they suggested this brand, but in liquid form. I was hesitant to use liquid so I gave this a try. It has worked great. Mine only get one tablet every other day, and I can definitely see improvement with their skin and fur and my pup is not as itchy during her treatment.
my pup has always had allergies and very dry skin...within several days of using , her fur became a lot softer and the scabs from itching had fallen off...leaving her skin soft
One of my dogs needs to take omega 3 as part of his diet. At first I tried a different one that I use for my cat, but it gave him diarrhea. So, I decided to buy this one which was recommended by our vet. I was worried that he would not take it as a pill, but he just chows it down along with his food. And his poo looks a lot more normal.
One of my shelties periodically gets hot spots in the summer, even though she is on Apoquel. The Vertinarian suggested I start giving both shelties the Vetoquinol Omega 3-Fatty Acid supplement. The office happened to be out of the size Medium that I needed. I was thrilled to find the same product recommendation was offered by Chewy, which always has fast shipping. Time will tell for further positive results with the supplement. But so far, so good.
Since using this product the infection in my dog's ears has been eliminated.
This medicine is requested by my Vet. Also, this is the best price that I have found and these pills are easy to digest.
Love buying at Chewy. Products were delivered fast, and could track them by web
Noticeably better coat since taking these. It took a while to notice but so glad we didn’t give up!
This gel capsule is too hard to cut and squeeze onto the dog's food. wish it had been in a different format - e.g., tablet to grind or capsule to separate.
Love that these are healthy supplements for my pup. He loves them and eats them like a treat! Great price point $40ush with S&S for the 250count bottles too.
