I love this fish oil for my senior cat. It doesn’t seem to change the taste of her food. The only issue was the bottle didn’t come with a pump and the previous bottle I had I threw the pump away. So if you’re purchasing this, I recommend you keep the pump from the previous bottle or find one separately!
The vet tech here at Chewy recommended this because my dogs hair was looking dull even though I feed two high quality products. It’s only been two weeks since I started giving it to him so not seeing a lot of difference in his hair overall. However, he had this spot of allopecia around his eye. It’s been there for months. I took him to the vet for it. They said not to worry unless it got really bad. Just this morning I noticed it’s gone. The hair is back. It had to be from this. It’s the only thing that has changed. Hopefully, it works on bringing back his shine.
Advertised as a liquid pump, administer instructions outline how many pumps to add to food. Did not include a pump. Useless.
Gave to my cat per the dose the last does I gave her was Friday she had been puking since sat night she has health issues to start with so 545$ later she is on anti nausea meds and diarrhea meds and I’m extremely exhausted. I will never buy this product again or recommend it anyone
I just started using this supplement for my dog. As of now I'm not sure of the benefit of this product. It was suggested by my Vet to squirt a small amount on his food twice daily. It is suppose to help with his digestion.
Tried this for the first time last night, dosed according to their weight, & it made my cat sick all night…she threw up many times and today she’s having GI issues too. I feel badly because I wanted to get this to help her but it’s caused a lot of issues.
I used to give my maltipoo this a year ago in pill form. She wouldn't eat the pill, even if it were covered in food so I started cutting the pill and squeezing the contents out on her food. It was a hassle and I often got more on my fingers and she wasn't getting the full amt. The only think I don't like about the pump is for her weight I'm suposed to only give half a pump. Now that's tricky as well so at times I may be giving her too much or too little. She's started having sore and scabs that I had remedied a few years ago with sensitive skin food, but now they're back and I can't think of what has changed, so I'm hoping putting her on the fish oil will help with her skin and her fur, which has dulled. I researched omega and apparently it can take 4 weeks to some months before you see the full benefit, if any.
This product is great! My dog's coat is so shiny!
I always get my baby girl a chewable version of omega supplements wanted to try something different overall I do like the product and the pump it came with just felt the bottle was really small.
Unfortunately my cat hates this product in any food I mix it in. Her favorite dry foods, wet foods, even treats. It's unfortunate because I think it'll really help but she just won't eat it.
