This gel is Maple Flavor.
I'm not great with measurements, so if i had a 1 ml syringe, how much of this would i use for an adult cat?

For cats over 6 months you'll administer 1.25 milliliters (ÂĽ of a teaspoon) which contains approximately 250 milligrams of L-Lysine. The suggested administration for kittens under 6 months of age is 0.65 milliliters (â…› of a teaspoon). The doses will be administered twice daily unless specified otherwise by a veterinarian.
Does viralys lose its effectiveness after expiration date?

Nope

My gal tried once first time couple weeks ago. Will not go near it since. Looks like in elderly age (15.5) she will not be continuing to get the lysine support had the last 13+ years. We finished the last of the VetriScience chews had since early in year and from reviews do not think will waste time with those either. Too bad the entire industry gone downhill.

Viralys exceeded my expectations!

I have two feral cats in my backyard that I care for and one of them showed up coughing. The coughing went on for a few weeks and worried, I did a bit of research then ordered Viralys. I added it to both of their foods, to prevent the other one from getting the cough and within a few weeks the cough was gone. If you have ferals, and there is no way to take them to the vet, this worked like nothing I could imagine. And with the colder months approaching I wanted to make sure they were at their healthiest to take on the New York winters.

My cat likes it, so I like it!

The doctor recommended Lysine for one of my cats, and I tried with a powder formula first, but this gel is better. It taste maple, and my picky cat likes it. And it is very easy to give it to him, in a plastic spoon.

  • Cachito has asthma, and Lysine is good for improve inmunity.

Recommend

This was recommended by my vet to help with the digestion of my older cats as they were having issues throwing up their food. I just add a dollop to their dishes and so far, once a day works great. IAnd they love the taste. I am sure it makes their gut feel better as well!!!

So good my cat thinks it is a treat

This stuff is amazing! My cat licks this stuff right off my finger. No fuss feeding. This is a supplement or medication that my cat doesn’t fight against at all. That maple flavor is something my cat loves! He literally thinks it is a treat, and begs for it morning and night. I feed it to him during the times I give him his treats too. This is good because this is a supplement I recently found out that he needs for his whole life.

they like it

I recently adopted two cats. One has FIV, she/we are managing it. The Vet suggested the kibbles of this...they hated them! I decided to try this form, they both like it. They think it is a treat. Is it working to keep her immunities up? I don't know. But I am willing to continue this product.

Love this stuff!

This stuff is great I just follow the instructions and put someone his nose and he eats it right up. It seems to be helping with his wheezing and phlegm sounding also. Very happy. His doctor had him on this when he was a kitten from the vets office so I knew it was good.

Not really certain

I ordered this for my three cats hoping to boost their immune system. They eat it just fine but I'm not sure about it. One of my cats has a sensitive stomach and the other one has allergies. The third one is kind of normal so I may continue to give the Viralys to the third cat.
