Same exact product as Tomlyn's L-Lysine powder
By vitit on Jan 25, 2021
I bought both this powder and the Tomlyn one and after carefully reading the ingredients and other details I realized they were the EXACT SAME product. They are both made in Canada by Vetoquinol N.-A. INC and are distributed by the company's division in Fort Worth, TX. Just get whichever of the 2 is cheaper at the moment. As per the results, I'm not sure how much this powder helps. I started giving it to my kitten when he was 3-4 m/o because of constant eye infections presumably caused by feline herpes. His condition hasn't really improved and he's almost 1 y/o now.

Necessary supplement
By Finicky on Jan 6, 2021
Viralys is a necessary supplement to prevent various respiratory ailments with my cats who tend to have conjunctivis and annual susceptibility to colds. One of my cats recently was sneezing quite frequently and with additional viralys, we arrested her symptoms. I have another cat who used to get annual congestion and sinus issues and now that I have been giving him viralys daily he has not had any issues for several years.

best lysine
By granolaveg on Jan 5, 2021
I previously tried lysine treats, but they were hard so my cat couldn't chew them up. I feed my cat dry food, so I was worried that I couldn't use this powder unless I fed her wet food, but I have been pleasantly surprised that I can just sprinkle this on top of her dry food and stir it around a bit, and it sticks all over the dry food, and she even licks up the bits of powder left in her bowl after. Yay! Cost effective and easy!

Palatable and Works Amazing!
By Brandi on Jan 25, 2021
I started my 7 cats on this product to help boost their overall health. This product has been working well and is very palatable. My cats enjoy it mixed in with Friskies Lil Soups or Appetizers. I highly recommend this product especially if you have an immunocompromised cat like I do!

Vinnie likes it!
By MissMira on Jan 30, 2021
Had been using the paste which Vinnie really liked - maple flavor - who would have thought that?!? But can’t seem to get it right now and he has to have it for his eye. So....tried the powder. Smells pretty fishy to me - but he is very pleased. Will purchase again.

FIV+ cat approves
By Becky on Dec 30, 2020
My Vet recommended this supplement for my FIV+ cat. I've noticed a really big difference in the overall eye boogers/puffiness as well as sneezing and it's a huge relief. I've also tried the gel version but my cat wasn't too happy with that one, this version is so much easier to sprinkle on his wet food and he seems to enjoy it a lot more. Talk to you vet before giving your cat any supplements though!!

Cat has FIV
By Patsy on Jan 25, 2021
Baxter our cat, constantly has mucus running out of his eyes. After 2 weeks of introducing L-Lysine into his food it improved. He still has the discharge from his eyes, but it is slowly improving. I can see a dramatic difference.

Outstanding product
By Carmen on Jan 27, 2021
I purchased this product for my 4 month old Ragdoll kitten for a respiratory issue ( runny eyes, sneezing). She started looking and feeling better within 48 hours. What an outstanding product!

It really helps
By CJsmom on Jan 10, 2021
Our new kitten who we adopted in July had herpes in the eye and always has a lot of eye boogies. He was given drops by the vet and it helped but it really is a chronic condition for him. I found this to be the best lysine to keep it in check. I also give it to my cat to help prevent herpes.

Just Didn’t Work...
By ShinerBlondie on Jan 1, 2021
The only reason that I cannot give this product a higher rating is because I have no idea how it affects or works on my cats. I have a total of 8 between the indoor and outdoor ones and not ONE OF THEM would even sniff it! I am so sorry! I truly needed it to work on one of the indoor babies.
