VetriScience' products are manufactured in the United States. However, we source the raw material for our products from both inside and outside the United States. Our raw material suppliers acquire high quality ingredients from all over the world. Depending on our needs and current market supplies, a particular raw material may be from 1 country in 1 batch, and from another country in another batch. For our raw materials, we require a Certificate of Analysis, which documents the quality, purity, and potency. This qualifies each raw material before accepting it for production. Our parent company - FoodScience' Corporation - is certified to operate under current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) protocols. Under these protocols, we require that each ingredient in a formula be supplied with the respective Certificate of Analysis. This means that the supplier is required to test the ingredient for contaminants, such as heavy metals, microorganisms, and other physical or chemical parameters unique to the ingredient, before the ingredient is shipped. Any raw materials that do not meet our specifications are sent back to the supplier. Upon receipt of a raw material, it is tested for potency and other parameters outlined in the ingredient's specification sheet. Test results are compared against the established specifications.
Please follow all dosing instructions stated on our packaging. VetriScience' calculates our dosing strength according to the animal's weight. Never increase dosing on a nutritional supplement without discussing it with your vet first.
Refrigeration of our products is not recommended due to the fact that refrigeration produces moisture, which can degrade nutrients, change smell, and reduce the shelf life on nutritional supplements. Please follow the storage instructions on our labels.
Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Our vet recommended this to us after about 4 years of our cocker spaniel struggling with these flaky, itchy, fungus-looking skin spots. No topical cream or liquid fish oil was working and no vet could fully diagnose these skin spots. After about a month of taking these with peanut butter, his skin is doing incredible! So glad we found these. Yes, they are a large capsule, but personally, Ollie doesn't have any issue if they're covered in peanut butter off of a spoon.
got this to reduce dander on my cat's fur. My vet recommended an omega 3,6,9 formula. First time I have tried it. My cat detects it, licks his lips a lot after slurping it with his wet food slush, seems to go a bit nuts afterward, rather vocal, but he does not object to it. I am squeezing just a half capsule into his food, a full capsule really sent him charging around. His fur quality is improving, less dander, but the temps here have also changes this fall, so I am not sure if it is these capsules that are helping or not.
First, the pills are huge. I have a labrador and her vet recommended 2 pills in the am and 2 pills in the evening. I had to shove it down her throat the first 2 days but I will not put her through it anymore. I decided to try to "break it down", impossible! The pills case are extremely hard! I decided to cut it and ended up cutting my finger. It baffles me that this company would manufacture the pills like that when nowadays there are so mny great options in easier forms such as soft pills, chews etc... Cannot return it, won't buy it again and I strongly do not recommend it.
I got these for an older cat that I adopted. He had really bad skin/fur issues. I had read that omega 3 was good for those problems so I decided to get this product since it had the 3, 6, and 9 omega. What a difference it made! Not just with his skin/coat but he started acting like a kitten! I told my brother about these and he bought some for his older lab. She's been doing better too! Some reviewers were having issues with giving the capsules to their pet.....I just take a large embroidery needle and poke the end of the capsule with it. Just don't squeeze the capsule while doing so. ;-) Then I squirt the liquid into the cats food. I highly recommend!
What's inside is good but is hard to give to my small dogs.
Salmon oil seems to have worked better for our lab’s coat
My groomer recommended this product for my newly rescued 8 year old dog. His skin was so dry that when you would pet him, his back was covered in white spots. Within 2 weeks of starting this supplement, his fur is shiny, his skin is not dry anymore.
Our 11 year old rescue was showing signs of old age and slowing down. Our vet recommended these along with Cosequin. Our girl varies between 60 and 65 lbs so according to the label she was to get two pills a day, divided between AM & PM. This didn't work for her, she got very sick on that dosage and was throwing up all day/night. We took her off of these, gave her a few days, and now she gets one pill with her breakfast. The pills are large but lucky for us, she gobbles up anything in her food dish so I just place is on top and she sucks it down. I can't definitely say if this is relevant to the product but we have noticed that since starting this product, she leaks more anal gland stink. She hadn't had this problem before starting the supplement but I can't find any research online to back the problem up. Nothing else changed in her diet except for the adding of this supplement.
My dachshund’s skin was so dry until my vet recommended Omega fatty acids. This product has been the perfect solution. Her skin is beautiful now.
These Are ABSOLUTLY amazing! Our little pup has bad allergies and his vet wants him to have two baths a week these def help with the dry skin from so many baths. He does smell a little fishy though but if it helps his skin and his all around health that's ok
