VetriScience' products are manufactured in the United States. However, we source the raw material for our products from both inside and outside the United States. Our raw material suppliers acquire high quality ingredients from all over the world. Depending on our needs and current market supplies, a particular raw material may be from 1 country in 1 batch, and from another country in another batch. For our raw materials, we require a Certificate of Analysis, which documents the quality, purity, and potency. This qualifies each raw material before accepting it for production. Our parent company - FoodScience' Corporation - is certified to operate under current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) protocols. Under these protocols, we require that each ingredient in a formula be supplied with the respective Certificate of Analysis. This means that the supplier is required to test the ingredient for contaminants, such as heavy metals, microorganisms, and other physical or chemical parameters unique to the ingredient, before the ingredient is shipped. Any raw materials that do not meet our specifications are sent back to the supplier. Upon receipt of a raw material, it is tested for potency and other parameters outlined in the ingredient's specification sheet. Test results are compared against the established specifications.
Please follow all dosing instructions stated on our packaging. VetriScience' calculates our dosing strength according to the animal's weight. Never increase dosing on a nutritional supplement without discussing it with your vet first.
Refrigeration of our products is not recommended due to the fact that refrigeration produces moisture, which can degrade nutrients, change smell, and reduce the shelf life on nutritional supplements. Please follow the storage instructions on our labels.
Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

This product lists "Zeolites" as a major ingredient. As far as I can find, zeolites is slang for aluminum (salts). Not Good. It seems that this product gave two of my three dogs diarrhea. Another main/active ingredient is a mix of probiotics. I do believe that dogs that harbor the right, species appropriate microflora in their mouths will have better dental hygiene. So, that seems like a good ingredient but it is only as good as the species appropriate diet. I can't recommend this product even though I do think it a good idea to think about the oral flora.
First order of product. Vet recommended. Our last two cats (deceased) had teeth issues and wanted to get these kittens started off right. Chewy stocked product and had best price. Arrived when expected.
This definitely helps if you use it 2x a day on food to reduce bad breath. I have 6 dogs, 5 are seniors. When they would pant in our direction, you could smell it from the other side of the couch. Such an improvement now. If we forget it for a couple days we notice.
Have used this for years for chihuahuas which have notoriously bad teeth and it does seem to help at the annual dentals: Vet recommended
Really helps remove plague from my dog’s teeth. Liquid dental formulas only help with bad breath. This product works deeper.
This product was recommended by our vet and it really helps to keep our dog and our previous dog's teeth clean. Our Border Collie does not have doggy breath at all. I do brush his teeth every other night, plus I spray his teeth to prevent plaque every morning!
My cat doesn’t like this item and refuses her meal if I add it in. Oh well!
My puppy and 1 year old cat are fine with it, but it makes my 3 year old cat vomit profusely. Havent noticed any difference in their teeth in the ones that can stomach it.
Our vet recommended this to use between cleanings as a preventative. Our dog doesn't mind the taste, and I can see that her teeth look cleaner. It has decreased the smell as well.
I notice moderate improvement in my mini poodle's molars after 4-6 weeks. I still brush but not daily as before, every few days instead. All 5 of my poodles have suffered "dirty" teeth; seems common among the breed.
