Questions & Answers

Are the capsules of this product small enough to wrap in pill wrap/pocket and to be consumed by a dog with a relatively petite mouth?
Answer by ChewyDec 25, 2017
These Capsules may be wrapped in a pill pocket. We have also had reports of customers opening the capsule to sprinkle the contents on wet food.

My dog has epilepsy and takes phenobarbital. Would this be ok to give her?
Answer by ChewyApr 27, 2018
We recommend consulting a veterinary professional before combining any supplements.

I just bought this product for my dog. What is a good way to give them to her? She eats dry dog food so I can't really open the capsule and sprinkle it in her food.
Answer by ChewyJan 09, 2018
This product can be hidden in a pet food treat.

Can this product be given to a cat?
Answer by ChewyJul 29, 2022

Best price

Lower price than I’ve paid on other sites or at the vet’s office. Super speedy delivery!! Have used this on a few of my dogs and it truly works, definitely relieves pain.

so far so good!

I bought these for my dog as she is a little longer than typical and it was looking like she needed some back support. I’ve had her on it for about two weeks now and she already looks to have a better top line and she carries herself better. I pull the capsule apart and spread it on her food since she’s finicky about taking pills. The only concern is her stool has been a little looser and I’m not sure if this is what’s causing that. Hopefully her stomach adjusts.

Trust the reviews

My little corgi had his first bout of IVDD in 2017 and managed to not have another episode until Nov 2022 which ended up being worse than the one prior. Being older now, I was afraid he wouldn’t recover quite as quickly and would have more frequent episodes. Meds and crate rest had him back to somewhat normal, albeit a little slower. We were good until early March 2023 when he started showing signs of back pain again. I found these through my googling and bought them based on the amount of positive reviews. Within a few days of being on these, my little dude started moving and zooming like he was a pup again. I still try to keep his excitement contained so he doesn’t jump, twist and turn too much, but these supplements are a life saver. My boy will take these every day for the rest of his life.

It Worked For My Dogs Knuckling

My 13 year old Ridgeback Mix was diagnosed with Spondylosis, hip dysplasia, and osteoarthritis. He had been "tripping" (knuckling) with his front paws when trying to walk despite being on an NSAID. I was nervous about trying this because he has a history of uti's, crystals and stones (label says to use caution in dogs with this condition) but I'm glad I tried it. After a few weeks he has completely stopped the knuckling and seems more comfortable overall. He's 60lbs and has been doing well with a lower dose than suggested (to be careful with his previous urinary issues), just 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening because I also give 1 Cosequin in the morning. Great product!

Pills too big

I've read the reviews and had such high hopes. I received the bottle and even for my 50lb dog that pills are a hassle and hazard to swallow. I have to wrap them very well in his food so he can swallow it with his food, but that's not always the case. I also believe the pills was stuck in his throat at one point because he started drinking a lot of water immediately after I gave it to him inside of a pill pocket.

My dachshund has an IVVD incident in January 2021. I discovered VetriScience Disc Capsules and she had been taking 1 per day with no subsequent symptoms or problems

This supplement has been life changing for my 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! She went from not being able to step into her bed to now jumping in it! She can go on short walks again as this supplement helped with her arthritis and joint pain in literally ONE day! I want to be the spokesperson for this supplement!
