Are the capsules of this product small enough to wrap in pill wrap/pocket and to be consumed by a dog with a relatively petite mouth?
Answer by ChewyDec 25, 2017
These Capsules may be wrapped in a pill pocket. We have also had reports of customers opening the capsule to sprinkle the contents on wet food.

My dog has epilepsy and takes phenobarbital. Would this be ok to give her?
Answer by ChewyApr 27, 2018
We recommend consulting a veterinary professional before combining any supplements.

Approx how long should one expect before seeing effects?
Answer by ChewyMay 09, 2022
Generally, you may see a change in your pet between four to six weeks. The earliest the effects will show will be in two to four weeks.

I just bought this product for my dog. What is a good way to give them to her? She eats dry dog food so I can't really open the capsule and sprinkle it in her food.
Answer by ChewyJan 09, 2018
This product can be hidden in a pet food treat.

Highly Recommend

My 15 yr old rattie was diagnosed with Spondylosis in August, and had an injury in Oct. that required hardcore meds & crate rest. I started her on Vetri Disc as soon as we got passed that, and noticed an improvement within a week. She's getting around better & able to do short walks again. No injuries / harsh meds since. Absolutely priceless that she has a better quality of life for the time she has left.

Hoping for positive results

I ordered this for my mini-Dachshunds to take daily in hopes of strengthening their joints and muscles to keep their spines healthy. I'm only on week 2 of dispensing so I don't have enough information to make a true evaluation which the reason for 4-star rating. I'm hoping this keeps my pups on the feet and backs healthy.

Awesome Product

How do use this supplement in two different animals now. One in my great Dane who has some spinal arthritis from an injury. And second for my Chihuahua mix who has disc disease. I’ve noticed massive improvement when using this product! It’s affordable, easy to administer in their food, and very effective. I highly recommend it!

Highly Recommended!

After my girl was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis I started her on this product. Before taking this, her bones in her back with pop nonstop every time she moved. I am about three months in and I no longer hear any of these popping/cracking sounds coming from her back. Amazing product! I highly recommend it.

Verti Disc

About 5 yers ago my dog had a back problem. After vet care and she was able to use her back legs. I started her on this product and she was great. I stopped giving it to her. I just started up again since she is 9 years old, works wonders. Very good product. I open capsaule and mix it with her wet food. I also add cooked spanich or brocoli

Amazing Product

I am a veterinary professional and specifically rehabilitate pets after injury, illness, and surgery. Disc herniation especially in long back short legged dogs like Dachshunds and Corgis is something I deal with a lot. I recommend this product to any patient I see with or potentially could have back and neck issues. I've used it on my own Dachshund for 14 years and she's never had a single issue with her back. Chewy also has an amazing price on this!

Too early to tell if it helps

I have a small 16 year old doxie. Manufacturers need to realize that a horse pill does not work for tiny dogs. I tried splitting it by opening the capsule and putting the powder in pill pockets. Needless to say-what a mess! Plus I had to use three pill pockets to try and get all the medicine in her. But to not give up and give the medicine a fair chance and hopefully to help her I bought baby food. I put a small amount on her plate and mix it in. So far so good she is taking it. When I put it on her canned dog food she wouldn’t eat it. So if you have a medium or large dog I would recommend giving it a try-a small dog It’s just too big of a pill. So not to blame Chewy as they r great - it’s the manufacturer for not taking in to consideration the size of the dog and the size of the pill.
