I have just started using this probiotic for my shba inus, who get gurgly stomachs. Used it for two weeks now and so far so good. No gurgles.

  • Not "tablets"

These are great horse-sized pills that are easy to crush for your pet. It's an extra step to get your dog to take these, but seems to work well.

  • Works for both my dogs

    By on

This product works very well. I give it to my 15-year-old sheltie and my 6-year-old Aussie. the only thing I can say is if your dog is picky like my Aussie is they may not like the taste.

  • Tried as remedy for canine flatulence

    By on

Based on past reviews thought we'd give this a try for our very gassy American bulldog. Alas, while it seemed to improve quality of her poops it did absolutely nothing for gas that could clear a football stadium! Back to the drawing board i guess :(

  • Not working

It's difficult for me to review this product except for what my experience is. I have a 14 lb Cairn Terrier with extremely sensitive stomach issues. He has been on steroid therapy for almost 2 years and I am trying to find something more natural instead of medication to subside his gastrointestinal problems. I purchased this product hoping it would be the miracle that I needed due to the reviews from other buyers. Unfortunately, my dog will not take the pills as a treat. They are too big for him to start with and I have broken them in half and still no luck. I started crushing the pill and tried to sneak it into his food. Once again, nothing. He has no interest in the product at all. So, here It's difficult for me to review this product except for what my experience is. I have a 14 lb Cairn Terrier with extremely sensitive stomach issues. • helps with PLE induced diarrhea

    By on

My JRT rescue has been diagnosed with PLE (protein losing enteropathy) and I've almost lost him several times. We've finally determined his is caused by food sensitivities. Since starting him on a very limited ingredient prescription food, a product called Endosorb and these probiotics his symptoms have decreased immensely, his appetite has returned and he's actually regained much of the weight he had lost. In addition we've been able to cut his medication by more than half. It's a balancing act for sure, but he's showing so much improvement since we began using this product I now have hope my little boy's problem can be managed and he'll survive.

  • Has truly helped our Great Dane.

    By on

Prior to these probiotics, our Great Dane was frequently gassy and did not go to the bathroom regularly...ultimately causing diarrhea. This happened on a regular basis. Since we have started him on Vetri-Probiotic BD Gastrointestinal, his stomach has significantly settled and his bathroom habits are much better. He has not had diarrhea since.

  • GLAD I FOUND THIS PRODUCT

    By on

I do not know what makes this product more appealing to a dogs taste-they will not tell me. Dogs will eat without any problem. Followed directions that said product would coat the gastrointestinal tract using double for the first 4 weeks. I have not finished the first bottle before ordering the second. Worked wonders first week. Removed the dry food from the diet, may have added to their digestive problems and running eyes/nose. Gas gone. Switched to a more natural wet food made in the USA also. The only question I had, was how do you list natural imitation chicken flavor as an ingredient. Statement seems to contradict itself.

  • Good for my sensative red dobie!

    By on

My dobie was having digestive issues and have completely cleared up since starting this regimen. 5 pills seem quite a lot for the first month since it's 2 for every 25lbs, but at least it does go down to 1 for every 25lbs. Thank you chewy!

My dachshund has had chronic UTIs and been on numerous antibiotics over many months. I have been successful in keeping him healthy using this probiotic and Cranadin. Am so happy to have a holistic solution for keeping my boy happy and healthy.
