Description

Unleash the power of plants to keep your feline friend free of fleas, flea eggs, ticks, and even mosquitoes with the Vet's Best Cat Flea & Tick Home Spray. This chemical-free spray uses peppermint oil and eugenol from clove to kill ticks and fleas on contact―it even works on flea eggs to prevent infestations before they start. It’s 100% plant-based, so it’s gentle enough to be sprayed directly on cats 12 weeks or older and has a fresh, natural scent with no artificial fragrances. To use on your furry pal, simply spray it on from head to paw, massage into his skin and coat, and let the plant-based pest-eliminating action work, without any mess. Plus, thanks to its non-staining formula, you can spray it anywhere your kitty likes to cuddle, including bedding, furniture, pillows, blankets, upholstery, carpets, and rugs. Because it’s pesticide free, it’s also safe to use around plants, which makes it ideal for outdoor-loving kitties.

Key Benefits
  • Chemical-free formula kills ticks, fleas, and flea eggs on contact and repels mosquitoes, with peppermint oil and eugenol from clove.
  • 100% plant-based formula is gentle enough to spray directly on cats 12 weeks or older as needed, or year round to prevent infestations.
  • Non-staining formula can be sprayed directly on bedding, furniture, pillows, collars, blankets, upholstery, carpets, and rugs.
  • Pesticide free and safe to use around the whole family, so you can treat kitty, home, and yard safely and effectively with just one spray formula.
  • Veterinarian recommended and proudly made in the USA with no chemicals, pesticides, toxins, pyrethrins or cedar oil.
Precautions

Keep out of the reach of children. Sensitivity may occur after use of any product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs of sensitivity continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Not recommended of pregnant or lactating animals. For external use only.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Instructions

Read entire label before each use and use only in accordance with label instructions.

For Cats 12 Weeks or Older: Apply indoors or outdoors in a well ventilated area. Do a test spot one hour before full treatment and monitor for signs of sensitivity. Set the trigger-sprayer to the mist setting. Lightly spray cat’s entire coat until damp. Do not saturate. Do not spray in the face, nose, eyes or genitals. Cover the entire coat including the legs, tail and stomach. Massage into the coat until the product reaches the skin. Let coat dry completely before allowing pets to groom themselves or each other. Repeat if needed allowing 2-4 hours between applications, not exceeding twice in 24 hours.

For Pet Bedding, Cat Furniture, Pillows, Blankets, Upholstery, Carpet, Rugs and Outdoor Surfaces: This product is designed to be non-staining when used as directed; however, always apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area to test for colorfastness. Shake well. Spray the surface uniformly with a light mist until moist. Avoid soaking. A fine mist is all that is necessary to be effective. Allow product to dry completely before allowing pets to reenter area. Not recommended for use on fine furniture. Can be used around cats and dogs 12 weeks or older.

    Excellent Natural Flea Killing Spray

    By on

This season, our sweet kitties (all 6) have been infested w/fleas. Instead of using harsh chemical sprays that could harm our kitties, we bought this spray and we are VERY SATISFIED!! The spray can be used on pet beds, all around the house, even on their fur, which we've done. Just an fyi when using on their fur: we lightly sprayed 1kitty on the back of her neck and down her back, then combed through. Fleas were dying, but if you have a kitty w/light or white fur, you'll notice a pink hue come up. Don't be worried. It's both the fleas (& their excrement) disintegrating, which is made up of blood the fleas have taken from the cat. The pinkish hue will disappear in a matter of days. We're ordering 2 more bottles of spray tomorrow (in addition to traditional meds - liquid & pills - to rid the kitties of fleas, larvae, flea eggs & the often times unavoidable flea tapeworm). This Spray is a great way to go to avoid harsh chemicals around the house and on your beloved pets. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend it. Here's a good tip: before combing your kitty, have the spray ready to go (on wide mist), set out a paper plate with a paper towel on the plate. Next, set aside another paper towel before combing your kitty. After a vigorous combing, hold the comb over the plate covered w/the paper towel and spray the comb with the natural spray, then clean the comb w/the extra paper towel. You'll see the fleas die pretty much instantly or, at worst, they'll crawl around slowly (so spritz them again) & they'll die. Great product!! … more

    Does not work.

    By on

I recieved this a little over 2 weeks ago and I had high hopes since a neighbor recommended it to me. Unfortunately, one of my cats is more infested with fleas than before using this. I don't know if it's because he's a diabetic cat and they're prone to just latch on him, but it is crazy. My other cat also still has fleas as well. Smell is pretty strong too, so if you dont like strong scents don't buy this. I've tried so may different flea stuff and I'm having a hard time finding a good product for my cats and home.

    Made things worse

    By on

This product made things worse for my long-hair cat. This was the beginning of my cats journey of grain-free allergy & flea dermatitis. It has been terrible. This was a recommendation from an excellent cat shelter, do not combine tick & flea treatments. Flea treatments only for happy cats.

    Not convinced it did anything

    By on

I bought this for my cat who was then an outdoor feral kitten. He scratched like crazy, so I bought this. Used it. Still scratched like crazy. I put him on a vet prescribed flea med and he stopped itching as much as he used to. It says mosquito repellant on the bottle but that’s also hogwash. The only way it stops mosquitoes is if you spray it right at them and the saturation of their wings causes them to fall splat on the ground, which is a fun game but there’s not enough time in the world to directly hit every mosquito in the yard. This might work for you, but if you have the means, a flea/dewormer schedule is the best route to go.

I bought this really to use on my Chinese Fester dog, because he is hairless. To put other few control would mean him picking it so if this was safe for a car as much as they pick thought why not try it. I did and am very pleased with the results and not afraid to use it.

I bought this product and want to try it out. We had the fleas so bad and I've used the whole bottle in one week to spray on the cat's furs, my bed, carpet and furniture. It would not works for me and I ended up calling Pest Control to treat the fleas in my house. However, I love the mint smell though.

    Great Product

    By on

I really love the smell of this product. I have 2 feral cats who stay on my enclosed porch to sleep and eat, but otherwise are outside all day. I noticed a few fleas. One jumped on my leg. I am unable to put flea meds on them so it is difficult to get rid of their fleas, but I spray the room and their bedding. It seems to be working so far.
