Ear Infections

I don't know if it's fair to blame this product for the recent uptick in ear infections in my animals since using it, but I had never had an issue with infections before, in the 11 years since that I've been a caretaker for them. Previous, I always used the flush, but since my animals hated it, I tried these instead. After using them once every few weeks, 3 out of my 5 animals got ear infections. 2 cats and 1 dog. I'm not sure if it's the ingredients or the idea of shoving something into their ear canal. It could be my fault for doing it improperly? The same warnings should be made with using qtips in ears, I guess. All I know is that each vet bill for treating their infections was around $200. Not worth the convenience of this product.

Allergic/Infection Reaction

Nothing against the product, just want people to be aware. Cleaned my dog’s ears with this product yesterday morning. Since then his ears have gone red, swollen, and uncomfortable for him. He is non stop scratching, head shaking, holding them funny. First time we have used this product and I’m not sure if the product caused this irritation because of the tea tree oil (which I know can be aggravating) or because he had an infection and the tea tree oil made it more uncomfortable for him. He has a vet appointment today but just so everyone is aware. It can possibly cause irritation or really inflame an existing infection that you might not be aware of.

Finger my ear please

Bandit is skeptical of anything I have in hand. After using this product one time he sees me putting this on my finger and comes running over to me and sits down waiting. His ears were so bad; smelly and his was constantly digging at them. I thought I was looking at another expensive trip to the vet. This product worked to clear it up. You need to be gentle when using it. We don't use Q-tips in our ears why would you do it to your dog. Debris loosens and works it way out where you can clean it up with the finger wipe. I was surprise how much gunk came out of his one ear. This ear was very sore and bleeding from him constantly scratching at it. I thought he needed a bath but the smell didn't go away. After close inspection of the ear I saw all these little red marks and dirt. I went on Chewy, my go to for anything for my pets and found this product. I thought sounds better then squirting something in his ears and him flinging it all over the house. THIS product worked. His ear is almost cleared up. I check it daily and wipe as needed. Bandit is very happy with my decision. And of course he always gets a treat after his treatment. Good product to have on hand. Thanks Chewy.

Horrible design, does not get in nooks and crannies.

I bought this product, thinking it would be great to help me more easily clean out my dogs ears. But this product worked better in my head. By no means do I have large hands but I could barely get this pad on my finger and then the pad had problems getting in the crevices of my dogs ears. And he is not a small dog. He’s 100 pound German shepherd mix. Just overall a horrible product but great idea.

Dries out too quickly

These work okay but the packaging is terrible. The wipes dried out in a few days because they were not in a sealed container. I put them in a Ziploc bag to try and salvage them. If you purchase these, I would recommend immediately transferring them to an airtight container.

Easy to use

The finger shaped wipes are so much easier to use, and both sides have the medicine, so it gets where it needs to go.

Love this product

Just bought and used for the first time. The dogs are not scratching or shaking their ears after the first use.

Good but dried out quickly

The do a decent job cleaning and I appreciate the finger cot design, but they dried out quickly and now I cannot use the majority of the package.

Dried Out Before First Use

I didn’t get to use them because they dried out. I opened these wipes when I first got them, closed and stored them properly. Went to try them a few weeks later and they were completely dried out.

Dried out too quick

The product was great but the container is poor. The product dried out in the container because of the way the lid closes - it's not secure eniugh.
