The Vet's Best Enzymatic toothpaste that I purchased was too runny to apply without getting it on the floor before I was able to get it into my dog's mouth. Having said that, it does seem to get the job done. If it were a little more thick and also have a white color, so it could be seen more easily, it would be a much easier product to use.
This toothpaste works really well and my baby loves the taste. She acts like she is getting a treat every night we brush her teeth. She is a senior and she has healthy teeth and gums. So I guess that speaks for its self. Great product.
After trying a couple of different brands and flavors, my dogs really improved with using this particular brand of toothpaste. It really keeps plaque at bay and freshen their breath. I pair their brushings with snacks that help clean their teeth as well, such as duck feet or chicken feet.
I tried this toothpaste twice, about a month apart because the first time was so traumatic. I was hoping they had just eaten something they shouldn't have but nope... The first time I used it, right after, both my dogs puked for multiple times for two days straight. The second time I used the tiniest bit on just one of my dogs and she then puked that night. Never again
Our dog must be allergic to it cause it caused his stomach to react. We got this cause looking at the ingredients it looked ok for him but it wasn't.
this toothpaste eradicated the fish breath smell from his mouth. I never gave him any fish but was given a different paste and after awhile noticed a fishy smell that was awful. The first time using this again the fish smell was gone and has stayed away using it only once or twice a week
At my last Vet's visit with my Maltipoo, Bella, the doctor said she was seeing some tartar build up on a couple of her teeth. So, I ordered her this toothpaste to try, and Bella loves the taste and let's me brush her teeth! I bet my next visit will be a lot better for Bella! Thanks for a great product!
I bought this toothpaste a couple of years ago. I tried it with my Maltese/Bichon mix and he vomited everywhere after. I recently rescued a Maltese/Westie mix and thought I would try this toothpaste as my usual brand was empty. I thought maybe my other dog just had a bad reaction. I put a tiny bit on a brush and did a light brushing. Dog had watery diarrhea for a full 24 hours starting the next morning, like dripping out of his butt without his knowledge. He was walking around normally and it was dripping out, that's how watery it was. He didn't even have an urge to squat and try to defecate. I would stay away from this toothpaste and stick to Arm and Hammer. That one never upset my dog's belly and the flavor was more tolerated by my dogs. This one must not smell or taste good because they hardly tolerated it, and then got sick.
My boy loves this and gets so excited when I say, let's brush your teeth!
My dogs love getting their teeth brushed with this toothpaste!
