Squeeze the tube to apply the liquid in a straight line starting from in-between the shoulder blades at the base of the neck and down to the base of the tail (see diagram B). When applying, use the tip of the applicator to part the dog’s hair so the product reaches the dog’s skin. Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

This product works well, doesn’t smell and my dog doesn’t mind it.
I'm definitely someone who believes in the efficacy of natural compounds, but this product did nothing for my dog's fleas. He doesn't have a bad infestation or anything, but this didn't even touch them. It did, however, have a really awesome applicator (I've never seen something like it) and it smelled GREAT. It was pretty potent the first day or so, but I really loved it. Even though I can't recommend this product based on my experience, I do love that there are products like this on the market. It might work better as a preemptive than as a treatment for an active infestation.
Don't waste your money on this product, it does not repel or kill fleas at all. It leaves an oily mess with a very strong odor. Not sure how there are 5 star reviews on this product.
I watch my mother's pup while she's at work and noticed fleas on her Havanese. I purchased this item as preventative for my two pups. It's now been two months and I have not found a single flea attached to my dogs.
There is nothing more stressful for me than a tick on my dog. I have used this for two months and three doses. First month had two ticks the second week. Treated the dog again. Ok for a few weeks. Beginning of the month treated second week again and another tick. It states it can be used every two weeks but we can’t seem to make it through the second week without a tick.
Don't bother to get this product, it does not repel or kill fleas at all.
I've been using this product in New York City since I adopted my dog 5 years ago. My dog caught fleas within 2 days of bringing her home, just from walking on a sidewalk in the park. I did my research to find a safe product and found Vet's Best. At the time the spot on was being sold in a dropper bottle. Only once has my dog gotten fleas since, and that was because we lapsed by 2 weeks! I highly recommend to all of my dog walking and training clients. Note: White dogs may have a yellow stain at the application site, that dissipates over the course of a few days. It also smells strongly of clove an cinnamon, which I absolutely LOVE. The smell also goes away after a couple of days. My dog is a white, short haired bully with VERY sensitive skin. I usually see an increase in dandruff on her back on the first day of application, but it's definitely worth it for us!
I thought this would work. It smells bad. It makes a mess on the furniture. It also made the whole house smell. She got sick. She is all black and now her coat looks a mess. I will not be recommending this to anyone. If I had the box I would send it back!!
Ever since I’ve used this on my chihuahua he’s had 3 ticks on him I use the stuff once a month I have it on my calendar recommend to buy
I have been using this product for my big dog for 5 years. This year my husband brought in dirt and mulch for the yard.. I think was infested with fleas!!!! From earth to you. Caused a huge infestation in my yard and home...I may have been a week late applying this product, so my fault, I never had fleas and I am blaming the soil and mulch for my huge infestation.
