  • No more vomiting!

There are 6 cats in our household, and 5 of them are willing to eat these. Fortunately Mr Picky doesn't have issues with hairballs. One of my cats was throwing up on a daily basis due to hairballs. She won't eat other hairball treats, except Temptations but they didn't help enough. Using the gel in the tube did work, but she doesn't like it. She was beginning to hate me for forcing it on her paw. I tried these, and not only does she devour them but she stopped vomiting and doesn't run from me anymore! I followed instructions giving her one 2x a day for a couple days, and now only give her one a day. As for the other cats, they rarely vomit up hairballs so I give them 1/2 to a whole tablet once There are 6 cats in our household, and 5 of them are willing to eat these. I have a fluffy Calico who has mastered the art of creating hairballs. I have tried changing her food, giving her liquid serums in her water, gel paste on her tongue and other supplements, but no other supplement has worked like this one. She rejected most of them and I have often had to trick her into taking them. Not only does Vet's Best Hairball Relief Digestive Aid work, my cat goes crazy for them. The moment I get the bottle out she is at my feet, pawing my legs. I have to remind her that it is medicine and not a treat (not that she knows what I am saying). The pills are easy to break up by hand as well which is helpful when you have a 19 year old cat. I am just naturally cheesy and a huge animal lover who tries to do her best to take care of her fur babies). Cats are going to have hairballs, it's a fact of life, but these supplements have largely cut down the amount and frequency. If you have hairball issues with your cat(s), I recommend trying these. … more

  • Makes my cat's back itch for some reason

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I have two of my own indoor cats. Before I knew my longhaired grey boy has asthma, I figured it was hairballs so bought these. I split the pill in two, as it's kind of big, and every cat --my own or fosters!-- goes crazy for them. Mine are both obsessed with these pills and will unusually meow as high as chipmunks for them! However, my shorthair tuxedo tabby boy gets a twitchy back within ten minutes of having them, more consistent when he's had them regularly. I don't know why and can't explain it! He is sensitive to things so perhaps avoid if you have a cat with such sensitivities or general mediocre resistance health-wise? First I thought it was his litter, as we recently tried a scented version of our usual litter. Having eliminated both litter and this pill from his diet for a week now, the problem was gone, until this morning when we tried the pill again. Twitching started up just now. Works for my other cat okay but I think I'll try something else if I am concerned about digestive issues. I think diet is more important than throwing in extra pills, but maybe these will work for your kitties -- they're definitely good for picky eaters. … more

  • Love these!

    By on

I have six fur babies and I would say four out of six eat these when I break them up and toss them for fun treats to eat. I give them twice daily, sometimes once. My Tub of Love Sammy runs up and down the stairs for them. Great way to keep them in check with their hairballs and brushing is a must too for their health and happiness. Great product!

  • Cat thinks it's a treat

    By on

My cat rebels at any attempt to feed him hairball remedy from a tube, no matter how it is presented to him. But he takes Vet's Best tablets as if they are are a treat. He even comes when he hears them rattle in the bottle. His stools are always soft but well formed. His coat is medium length and very soft, but he seldom coughs up a hairball (unless I'm very neglectful about brushing him.)

  • Hairball puker greatly improved!

    By on

My cat took this readily the first cpl days then started getting a little picky abt it but I can more effectively hide this in her food. The really great thing is how well it works. Many other attempted remedies she just wldnt take but as stated this hides more easily in food and she seldom vomits now. What happy campers we both are!!!

These tablets are large and hard so my old cat isn't able to eat them unless i grind them into powder form and put on his food... but he seems to like it and it seems to work!

  • Puking relief

    By on

One of our 10 year old cats puked regularly - a few times a day! - mostly just liquid - but was really annoying for both of us! A salesperson recommended this to try - and I am happy to say after breaking each of two tablets a day and adding to her dry food, the daily puking has slowed way down. She can go a few days without puking! When I ran out of the first bottle, and did not give for a few days, the puking started up again. When she has this digestive aid, life is better for both of us. Highly recommended!

  • So far, so good

    By on

I have six cats, and so far, not so many hair balls. Most of my cats love the taste, one won’t eat it, unless I sneak it in wet food.

  • This product worked out for my cat

    By on

This worked for my cat. He started coughing up hairballs just days later after I've given him the product. Before I started giving him this product he wasn't coughing up anything, he was only gaging. I really think this product helped him A lot. I should also mention that he LOVED eating this. I had absolutely NO problem feeding it to him. He almost chewed my fingers off! It was like a treat for him which he enjoyed very much.
