SO UPSET!!!!

WARNING!!!! I have determined this product to be dangerous to felines. I bought a bottle before where there were no issues, and I thought it was a fantastic product, this was through Amazon.com. After this transaction, I said hey lemme pick some up from my favorite ONLINE pet supply store (I am also hesistant to continue ordering my animal's heart worm medicine now through chewy). Well long story short (no way a coinendence with all the "concentrated" objects I started seeing before either) the bottle i purcheded from chewy was too concentrated, without me knowing, and after using on my cat I got sick and my cat turned yellow and shirveled up and is hardly eating or drinking now!!! BEWARE!!!!! the inconsistency of this product can be toxic to your animal! i read the reviews in other places but did not believe it due to my first good encounter, but this product needs to be removed off the shelves as quick the gang stalkers of concentraters around me.

Nice aroma

I like this shampoo! Cats smell so nice after I wash them with it, and they do not have an adverse reaction.

No difference between cat or dog formula

Don't waste your money getting this "cat formula" It is exactly the same as the dog formula but for more money and less product!

Thanks for less traumatic 'wash ups'

My 12 yr old Maine Coon son is now an old man kitty - his long beautiful 5 inch hair (not fur, it's hair) gets a bit 'musty' from time to time. He has always loved to be brushed - he will tackle you when he see's you holding a brush......He gets daily wipe downs with Huggies baby wipes (unscented - has to be Huggies he says) but when there is a need for a BIG JOB at the back door - I have found this waterless bath is THE TRICK. It has a gentle smell which does not affect his kitty asthma and it makes for a quick 'catch and wipe down of that private area' that does not upset him so bad......Have tried many waterless shampoos over the years and this is our tried and true product. We always keep an extra bottle in the supply closet - sure can't run out of a necessary product when it comes to the baby. Thank You CHEWY for providing the BEST for our kids.

I like it, my cats tolerate it buuuut...

Why on earth does it have NEEM OIL in it?? I googled it, having never heard of the oil before, and it describes it as having a "bitter taste," and a "garlic/sulfur" smell! It's also used as an insecticide (though according to Google) deemed "relatively safe" for cats...which I don't find terribly reassuring! But I have used this waterless shampoo on both my cats and they didn't seem to bother them.... I also find the smell quite pleasant (though cats of course have different likes and dislikes than an inferior human's nose) and it smells a bit like my shaving gel which (no surprise) has oatmeal and aloe in it, just like this shampoo. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯not strong, just pleasant to (my) nose. I don't see my cats grooming themselves excessively to try to rid themselves of the scent (but then, it's also supposed to be "very bitter" (a la Google again). 4 stars for the weird ingredient, but overall seems to be a good product (especially for my aging and less-grooming cat).

It really does stink

I read the reviews about ppl saying it stunk and some didn’t and felt torn and decided to just give it a try. Now when you smell it out of the bottle it’s very light and doesn’t smell that bad. When you put it on the cat it is light and doesn’t smell that bad. When it dries it turns really strong potpourri floral old store smell, and yes now you have stinky cat who really needs a bath. The only thing that was okay is my cat has never had a bath and she really liked the feeling of the foam on her body which I was not expecting. But there are other foams out there.

Disappointed

I bought two bottles on the premise this would keep my two cats clean. After using it on both I couldn’t see a difference. I don’t like this product.

Don't use essential oils on cats

I used to use this on my cats - it works - and made their fur clean. Then I kept googling "waterless shampoos for cats" - this product contains "essential oils" - cats are not supposed to be exposed to any kind of essential oils because they make cats sick and can kill them!! Do not use any products that have essential oils on your cat!!

So far good but smells of clove or cinnomon

I got this because my cat gets a bit stress during grooming and nail trims. I used a flour sack cloth to aid in drying time because I knew he'd probably lick his fur after brushing but once applied and massage in he was ok with the brushing and drying part. Being the holidays I couldn't tell if the cinnamon smell was from the holiday candles or from this until after drying. It's not unpleasant but clove, peppermint and cinnamon can be toxic essential oils according to ASPCA so this will certainly be used sparingly and under supervision. I won't allow him to lick until he's dry. I wish I'd known these were ingredients before purchasing as I prefer not to use essential oils ON my animals. I only saw these listed on the VETS BEST website.
