    Highly recommend

I have a Great Dane puppy. She was eating a grain food when I brought her own and I was given the 40lb bag to finish off. I noticed when she was idle, she would roll on her back and chew on her paws. Someone told me to switch to a grain free and she would stop that habit - surely enough - I switched I have a Great Dane puppy. Food is fine, but directions for amount to feed don't sound right at all

By Rochelle on Jan 16, 2018

We bought this for our 10 week old puppy and the directions on the bag say to let the puppy eat as much as it wants for 20 minutes, repeat 4x per day. That sounds like an awful lot, considering our puppy could likely wolf down >1 cup in 20 minutes. We are giving him ~1.5 cups daily over 4 feedings and We bought this for our 10 week old puppy and the directions on the bag say to let the puppy eat as much as it wants for 20 minutes, repeat 4x per day. I think we'd definitely be making the way for an obese dog if we followed the directions of the manufacturer. … more

  • New Puppy Did Not Like This Food

    By on

We welcomed a new Rottie puppy into our home and was told by the breeder that the puppy was being fed Victor food so I bought a bag to have when our little guy came home. The puppy will not eat this food, AT ALL. We are slowly switching him onto a different food mixing the new food with the Victor food. He is picking the new food out and leaving the Victor behind in the bowl?

  • She hates it

    By on

We switched from another premium brand to this simply because Chewy stopped autoshipping the other brand. We saw good reviews, so we transitioned our bulldog. She hates it. She won't eat it unless we mix a little canned food. So after 2 bags of trying and hoping, we will switch her back to the other brand but have to pick it up somewhere since it can't be shipped.

  • Dogs Stopped Eating It

    By on

I was given some samples and the dogs seemed to like it with no issues so I placed the order. Not sure if the heat got to it or the food is different but no one will eat it. I even put goodies in it to get them to eat and they spit the dog food out and ate everything else.
