    super picky senior will eat it

    I have a super picky age 12 senior I raised from an age 1 feral rescue. The only thing she eats unquestionably is Feline Greenies Chicken Hairball Control and Delectables Bisque. After trying tons of dry food and dry treats to give her a variety of nutrition, there are only a few others she will eat I have a super picky age 12 senior I raised from an age 1 feral rescue. After trying tons of dry food and dry treats to give her a variety of nutrition, there are only a few others she will eat with hesitation, but this is the only one she doesn't snub or hesitate about. It smells and looks great to me too. It's the richest, darkest kibble I've ever seen, and the ingredients are amazing. My other feral rescue really likes it too. We're sticking with it. … more

    Still Debating This One...

    I've been feeding ALL of my animals (2 cats, 3 large/ giant breed dogs) American Natural Premium for a few years, but a few have been developing sensitivity issues maybe all of a sudden (could be I just hadn't noticed as much before), so.... started mixing in Victor Formulas for all of them & not positive I've been feeding ALL of my animals (2 cats, 3 large/ giant breed dogs) American Natural Premium for a few years, but a few have been developing sensitivity issues maybe all of a sudden (could be I just hadn't noticed as much before), so.... started mixing in Victor Formulas for all of them & not positive how much of a difference this alone makes, but for now I think my girl is coughing up a bit less than before - BUT the ingredients (while good) also don't quite compare bc everything 'meal', esp BLOODmeal kind of freaks me out! Right now, I'm gonna try sticking to mixing smaller bags of the 2, while trying to really push the wet food which is better for them anyhow. Lost my 'very young' boy (a stray Siamese, if you could believe it), just last year to a blockage they couldn't do anything about - and DRY FOOD, which I know plays a HUGE part in it was all he would eat (along w the fact that he was a nervous boy)...
