    By on

I have two German Shepherds and the male is very big boned - BIG Shepherd - and beautiful ! The female is also beautiful and they made beautiful babies - looks and temperament. Anyway - they have eaten VICTOR food since I've had them and the puppies were started on the VICTOR for puppies and lactating females. They are all very healthy and happy! Best dog food ever!!

  • Amazing food and good for dogs with bad joints!

    By on

My dog loves this food and I love that most of the protein comes from meat. I also love that it has added glucosamine and chondroitin for hip and joint support. My dog is a large breed mix and has a bad hip so this is important to me. He is also getting older and I hope that this food along with supplements and exercise can help keep his hip less painful and keep him more active for longer! Too early to tell if it has helped his hips but his energy level is definitely up and his coat looks great! We have tried the grain free lamb formula too and he likes that as well.

  • Finally found the perfect food for our guy

    By on

After trying all the best foods out there we finally found it! Our 1yr old, 160 lb Daniff (Great Dane/English Mastiff) has an extremely sensitive system. After trying all the best foods out there we have a winner. No more scratching, paw biting and to big, to loose stools. I highly recommend

  • Chewy rocks!

    By on

Since I discovered Chewy.com, my life is so much simpler and I avoid traveling to pet stores 40 miles away to buy quality dog food for higher prices. Chewy delivers this to my door, free shipping, and saves me lots of headaches. I have turned my friends on to Chewy.com and they love it too. Thanks Chewy!!!

  • The best for my Bully

    By on

Victor is the only dog food that says its grain free that my Bully can eat. All others have caused his hair to fall out. Then he sunburns. Not a good thing. Kibbles are small enough that my mini dogs can eat it to, so I only need to buy one kind of food

  • Great food!

    By on

We have tried several foods and our dogs do better on grain free. One of our dogs had FHO surgery on his hip and I decided to try this food with glucosamine chondroitin to help with healing. Since we switched, his recovery has been noticeably better. We ran out and had to switch foods for a few days and his limp came back. Back to Victor Hero, back to running and playing without the limp. Our dogs both love the food!

  • Good grain free

    By on Top 250 Contributor

After using HiTek grain free and having problems after their ingredient switch, I was leery of trying Victor. After all, an affordable grain free kibble surely isn't that high quality, right? Still, I kept searching. Reviews and research on Victor led me to hesitatingly try this one. Three bags later and I'make feeding this to 4 big dogs from ages 11 to 2. The oldest and youngest have lost weight (neither needed to), but the 6 year olds have maintained just fine. No gas, great poop from day 1. I'll keep buying this one as part of our rotation.

  • Excellent Food

    By on

Victor Grain Free Hero Formula, is a fantastic choice is pet food. I love the added glucosimine for joints (great for lab owners!) I have a 13 year old lab who is in excellent shape and I partially attribute that to his diet. This formula also boasts being grain-free, 5 star rating on DFA, high protein content, and as of this writing this company has no known recalls. I would not feed my dog anything else
