My pups like it but it's not made for large dog's

By Jazzy on Jul 30, 2020

My two puppies ages 15wks and 8m loves Victor's fog good. We used to have them on Purina One, and one dog got horrible hot spots and would chew himself raw, the other one licked his paws continuously which produced raw sores. Went to TOTW, skin allergies went away, but I read about how there were high amounts of lead in the food so I switched to American Journey. They liked it, didn't have skin allergies, but my one dog started to not be eager to eat. Therefore, we switched to Victor, and ever since we started transitioning them over to this food (mixing the AJ with the victor per the recommended amounts), they are super itchy and one dog is licking his paws again and has sores on them. Not sure what is in this food that could be causing them both allergies, but we ordered a bag of American Journey if the itching doesn't subside. Sucks that we purchased a 40 pound bag of Victor though, since we will probably just have to donate it... … more
