    We got this for our 7 year old mountain cur. He has not been hunting in a few months and has gotten a bit on the heavy side. We were using another Victor food that we liked so we made the switch to this. He likes it, and has no trouble eating it. We were using another Victor food that we liked so we made the switch to this. He likes it, and has no trouble eating it. He is a 45lb dog with a large mouth, and the kibble is fine for him. I have seen reviews saying the kibble is too large for their small dogs. We also have a chihuahua who has stolen a piece or two, and he has no issues eating the kibble either. It is too soon to tell if he has lost any weight just yet, but overall he likes it, and we have seen no adverse effects from the change. … more

    Two dogs just don't like it

    I bought this brand after some research and it seemed a very good food for the price, the only trouble is, neither of my two dogs go after it and eat it. The food, instead of disappearing, would sit in the bowls and they would come back and graze on it, which is not like them at all. They are both pits, 12 and 11 years old, and this is why I wanted to try and find a senior food. Wish the pups would have eaten it, because it's nutritional values seem good. But if they won't eat it, it's back to the drawing board. … more
