Ever since I had my dogs one being 6 and the other 1.5 years they have remain on Orijen fish. But due to them eating a ton buying orijen every 2-3 weeks was killing my pocket this food thus far they have done amazing on. No reactions as they are allergic to everything no change in stool they even have more energy. I love the the price its affordable and it's a high protien diet. My dogs lick their bowls everything time. Plus I love that Chewy I buy everything on here and get it within two days!!

  • Both dogs adore it

    By on

I bought this for my 3 y/o Border Collie/Lab primarily because of her allergies, constant scratching and a yeast infection around her neck. Tried everything the Vet suggested topically with no luck. She has stopped scratching and is so much happier. My 1 y/o Australian Shepherd loves it too. Does seem like a lot less hair shedding, but haven't been on it long. Chewy is the best, wont buy anything from anyone else. They really, truly care about their customers and humans, I've experienced it firsthand!

  • Worth the cost

    By on

I switched from Blue Buffalo Basics Salmon & Sweet Potato to this after reading how often Blue Buffalo has recalls on their food. This food doesn't have an unpleasant smell that Blue Buffalo had, my dogs poop is now completely normal looking, and the company has never had a recall. Although it is seemingly more expensive than Blue Buffalo, it has more dog food in the 30lb compared to Buffalo's 24lb, so it ends up being cheaper.

  • No more itching

    By on

I really am amazed and would not have believed that the origen that I was giving my dog was causing rash and constant itching, scratching and gnawing. But two days after discontinuing the Origen and starting the Victor river salmon and sweet potato grain free dry dog food; my dog no longer itches scratches etc at all. I am so thankful as family members being kept awake at night by the scratching etc were determined that we were going to start using frontline as well as allergy meds. I really try to avoid treating symptoms. So glad we found the cause.

  • Good for my dogs

    By on

My 1 GSP out of the blue, started having gastric problems. After changing a few other things first,I realized it was his food. Did some research and Victor dog food came up. I liked the comments I read from other customers and decided to give it a try. Within 3 days,my dog didn't have issues anymore and still doesn't. Both my dogs like the food. I will continue to buy this for my dogs. It's a little pricey. But anything organic is. But the health of my dogs is so worth it.

  • Quality dog food

    By on

Purchased the Victor fish formula because my rescue Presa Canario has food allergies. We are trying different formulas to find the perfect match. Seems this combined with Honest Kitchens Zeal formula was it. This was my first purchase with Chewy and I plan on continuing to purchase from them. Great service.

  • We LOVE Chewy!

    By on

Our two dogs (GSD and pit mix) were previously on another food that was discontinued. Chewy helped us select this new food, Victor, and the transition was smooth and easy. Our dogs love this food and we've have no issues whatsoever. Shiny coats, great nutrition, awesome energy. Thanks Chewy!

  • Your service worked well!

    By on

My first order from Chewy.com came quickly and in good shape. It is nice to know I don't have to lug the large bag of dog food very far any more. Herbie has allergies to a lot of different dog foods and this is the first time I've found a dog food that he tolerates well and thrives on. Thank you.

  • Great so far for an EPI dog!

    By on

I have a very picky German Shepherd with EPI (digestive disorder). He has done well on Natures Variety Instinct and Earthborn Holistic but neither food did anything for his coat. He has been on Victor for 1 week and he likes it and already I've noticed his coat is softer and not as oily feeling. His stool is also the smallest and firmest I think he has ever had which is a great thing for his EPI. Although its Salmon it doesn't have a fishy smell. So far a great food with a great price!

  • My Dogs are Excited for Meal Time

    By on

This dog food was rated 5 out of 5 on Dog Food Advisor and my dog's love it. There have been zero recalls on this brand, so as a pet parent I feel good feeding this to my dogs. My dogs hadn't been overly excited for their meals in a while, but now I don't have to coax them to eat. I have it set up on auto ship and it is so convenient to not have to lug huge bags of dog food around.
