Cats refused to drink water with product

By Sandy on Dec 30, 2021

Unfortunately, my cat gave me the evil eye when I added the product to his drinking water. He refused to drink it and went about finding alternative sources of drinking water, so this product doesn't work. I am using the C.E.T. enyzmatic toothpaste to brush kitty's teeth instead.

    She doesn't like it

By Dogbreath on Jan 15, 2022

My Vet suggested this product to add to Olivia's water to help prevent plaque on her teeth and freshen her breath. Sadly, she doesn't like the water and won't drink it. Will not be buying it again. My dog must be picky.

    directions somewhat unclear

By janny on Nov 26, 2021

I haven't used this product before so this is only a review for the directions. Which are unclear. Does one add a fresh cup every day to the old water? does one make a new batch every day? I put water in the three places that my cat drinks. to ensure what he drinks is medicated however to throuw away what's left everyday is wasteful.

    Good for cat's teeth

By Barbie on Jul 13, 2021

Our vet recommended this for our cats' teeth. One of our cats had to have all his teeth pulled, so we were looking for something that would help prevent this in our other cats. We put a little in a clean water dish each night. At first they were hesitant to try it because the water changed to a light shade of green, after a few days all the cats were drinking from it. Here is hoping we get good results with all the remaining cats.

    Great Product!

By Clearnce on Jul 15, 2021

We have two Beagles (one of which does not allow us to brush her teeth, but we will keep trying). There is a measuring cup in the cap that is very helpful in getting the right amount into water bowls. The C.E.T. Aquadent Dental Solutuion does assist with keeping our pets' breath more fresh. We just finished our first bottle and will be ordering more.

Don't waste your time. Get their teeth cleaned instead.

By BooandPeanut on Oct 29, 2021

I'm sure this would work great but my kitties wouldn't drink it. Must be another way...?

cat wanted nothing to do with it

    By Bob432 on Aug 12, 2021

I think Virbac should make one that’s odorless. I could even smell the ingredients in it and I used half the recommended amount. Would not recommend.

    decreased plaque buildup

By Vitse on May 3, 2021

I used up nearly the whole bottle and am ordering another. My dog was rescued with teeth that aged him- tarter and plaque buildup. I used a different water additive before trying this one. This brand works much better than the other. My dog’s teeth are significantly cleaner with noticeably less plaque and tartar. I, however, have not smelled a difference in his breath. Then again, it could just be normal doggy breath.

    Great for bad breath

By prettyarrow on May 6, 2021

My vet recommended this product. My older dog Butch 12 years gets really bad breath caused from the plac and tartar build up on his teeth. This product seems to take care of the smell but I am not sure if it is taking care of the tartar because both my dogs drink out of the same bowl and the toilet and I am not sure that the older dog is getting the amount that he should to keep the plac away.
