I have completed a 4-week toothbrush training program with my 2 cats, and I'm pretty sure this toothpaste played a big role in our success. As soon as they see me pull this out, they come running to get their teeth brushed! They don't particularly like the brushing part, of course, but their treat afterward is getting to lick a bit of toothpaste off a plate. Essentially, they like the toothpaste more than they hate having their teeth brushed, and that's saying a lot. In my opinion any product that makes it possible for me to care for their dental health is worth its weight in gold. Now if only there was an equivalent for nail clipping!!

Albert has always been happy to have anything remotely edible in his mouth. This toothpaste flavored of chicken, allows me to run a toothbrush around his teeth. He has always had a soft mouth so it is no chore to take a few minutes in the morning after I brush my teeth with my toothpaste, to brush his with his toothpaste. It is a bonding time. I know the ingredients are safe for him; human toothpaste is not safe if it has sweeteners that are poisonous to dogs. I also think that the enzymic nature of the product lets the paste work against plaque even if my brushing is not the best, or the most thorough. The vet says his teeth and gums look good. My cat is VERY picky about new foods/treats. So I didn’t have high hopes for this toothpaste. To my surprise, my cat DEVOURS THIS STUFF. I put about a pea size amount on a finger brush and let him have at it. My husband was a HUGE skeptic about this toothpaste effectiveness, but even HE is convinced there’s a difference. Our cat’s breath is by no means MINTY FRESH, but now just just smells faintly of his dry food. So glad we found something that WORKS.

My 9 month old kitty has a mild case of gingivitis. I got this to jump on the issue before it gets serious. I think he likes the flavor alright, but after he tried it the first time he’s not about it. It’s really sticky (as it should be, so it can stick to their teeth and work on that bacteria) and he can’t stand it by itself. What I’ve started doing is putting it directly on a greenie treat which he goes nuts for so he gets it on his teeth without really dealing with the stickiness. As far as brushing goes, we’re not there yet.

I’m not able to brush their teeth, so I just put it on tartar control treats and they love it that they even lick the paper towel afterwards and ask for more when they see me closing the tube. So far, it seems to be working and I’m really happy with the change in their teeth, especially with my older cat who has calculus and mild gingivitis.

I've been using this toothpaste for about 5 years. My dogs like the poultry flavor the best but also like the vanilla mint. The vanilla mint makes their breath smell better as opposed to the poultry. My cat uses the poultry flavor the best. I use a human toothbrush for my dog's and it really helps clean their teeth and reduce plaque and tarter. Definitely recommend this!

I cant say if the taste of this toothpaste is better than his old one, but his teeth stay nice and clean, he's very patient with brushing, and will spend some time after we're done licking his teeth and gums so I'd say its a win. Pic attached is all I could find that shows his teeth lol

My dogs love this poultry flavored toothpaste! They almost want to lick it off the toothbrush before I can get it in their mouths! This is also a vet recommended toothpaste as well. However, with any toothpaste, regular use is key. I try to use it at least twice a week, oftener would even be better.

I use this product weekly and currently using small disposable travel toothbrushes that are tiny enough for the ferrets mouth. They love it but they just don't hold still :-) I would recommend this product it is worth the money and arrived in a timely fashion and is exactly as I thought

Have been using this toothpaste for my pups for a long while. It is great at controlling the tartar build up. I have small dogs and I know that many small dogs have teeth issues and bad breath. Brushing their teeth at least every other day with this product takes care of their teeth.
