As with any pet product not intended for human consumption, please keep out of reach of children and wash hands after handling.

The oral hygiene benefit can only be achieved by adequate chewing action. Gulping whole chews will reduce the chew's efficacy. Ensure your dog receives the right-sized product for their body weight and limit giving the chews to times when you are able to observe your dog.

This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

    Virbac Dog Chews

By Cockerlove on Feb 7, 2021

My dog loves these chews. They were recommended by my dogs vet and my dog has been enjoying them for quite some time; however like who have written reviews, I’ve been noticing some difference in the product for quite some time now, so I decided to purchase a bag from PetSmart last week just to compare. As you can see in my photos, the ones from PetSmart are smaller and thinner, and appear to have a brownish coating to them which I’m assuming is the flavoring. The difference between the two products is night and day, especially in person. Granted the ones from PetSmart were priced significantly higher than Chewy, but they price match which is Awesome! I love Chewy, but I’m not loving this particular My dog loves these chews. I love Chewy, but I’m not loving this particular product from Chewy. Much of the bag is too large and too thick and they’re lacking that yummy coating that my dog loves. Contemplating returning the two bags that I just received and just purchase them from a traditional pet store. … more

    My puppy wasn’t interested

By EKIM on Feb 17, 2021

My vet recommended getting enzymatic chews for my dog since he was developing plaque and this chew would soften and avoid risk of him chipping his teeth. I brush my dog’s teeth every day with the virbac toothpaste, but wanted something for him to chew on during the day. He didn’t take a liking to this chew and generally he hasn’t had white hide chews like this, so others may have better luck. He was intrigued initially by the scent but didn’t pursue it after a few tries at gnawing at it.

    Long lasting chew

By Mearasmommy on Feb 2, 2021

I won't give Meara "regular" rawhides, you have no idea what's in them. After a lot of research and a recommendation from my vet, we bought these. They do last a long time, but I must limit her time with them because she swallowed the first one after it got soft. Now I put the timer on and watch her like a hawk. We usually remove it after about 20 minutes.

    My dog loves them

By Recommended on Jan 27, 2021

I have a small multi Pooh who tends to have a very sensitive stomach so I have to keep him on a strict diet. These chews were a recommendation by my veterinarian and they are the only treat I give to him. He gets so excited when he comes in from outside because he knows he’s going to get his treats and they are good for his gums which help keep his teeth clean and my cost down and I highly recommend them to anyone

    My picky JRT/Beagle mix approves

By RamseysMama on Jan 18, 2021

My good friend's vet recommended Virbac C.E.T. chews as the only dental chews for dogs likely to make any difference in dental health. My dog is super picky and he loves these! Sometimes it takes him a little while to get a good gnaw on the chew and thus get enough of the flavor to stay interested. Once he gets going on one of these, he can stick with it for half an hour or more. This is what I'll give him if I really need him to stay occupied with something when I'm busy at home!

    No Quality Control

By Ellie on Jan 12, 2021

For several years, my 23 lb. dog loved them. They did a great job keeping her teeth & gums healthy. Initially 1 or 2 bags out of 4 would have a chew about 3 times thicker than the rest - she refused those. Over time, about 1/3 to 1/2 of each bag was 3 times thicker. I changed to XS & although she loves them, they are gone in less than a minute & don't seem to do anything for her teeth or gums. What happened to the quality control on the ones for small dogs?

    Samoyed’s daily morning treat

By SamoyedLover on Feb 23, 2021

I gave my Samoyed one Virbac dental chew every morning after brushing her teeth as a reward. She is so used to it she goes sit in her open cage to wait for it. Highly recommend as dental treat.

    Too tough!

By KYGA on Jan 8, 2021

I bought these because my chihuahua mix went thru the extra-small size too quickly. I was hoping for larger chews but with the same texture/thinness as the extra-small. These chews are too hard/thick for him and he gives up quickly. I plan to exchange these and go back to the extra-small.

    Afternoon Delight

By Goldfinger on Jan 6, 2021

I put a lot of time into keeping Harley's teeth clean. He has received these dental dog chews for quite some time when he finishes the food that was put out for his evening meal. He will run and whine to show that he is done eating, just to get the one treat he will receive.

    My dog’s obsession

By melrstx on Dec 5, 2020

My Sophie is absolutely obsessed with these chewies! Before she chews, she loves to bury it, hide it, walk around with it in her mouth and give everyone side eye if they even think about taking it! The only issue is there are mostly really thick ones in the bag. She is not as likely to chew those up and will just start whining, and then I eventually throw it away when I can distract her. I wish they had a bag of just the thinner chews, but she already gets the small.
