Virbac CET Oral Hygiene Cat Kit

    By GLC1 on Mar 27, 2020

Recommended my cat's Veterinarian. The dental kit helps do the daily teeth cleaning easily. My cat doesn't shun the taste of the tooth paste.

    You get two toothbrushes!

By CatzInKansas on Mar 21, 2020

I gave it a three star because it looks like a good product but honestly I just have picky cats and they turn their noses up at the smell of the toothpaste or whatever it’s called. I can’t even use it because I don’t want to be chasing my cats all over just to brush their teeth. I can’t even use it because I don’t want to be chasing my cats all over just to brush their teeth. I kept the packaging and everything but I don’t think returning it is an option because of the Coronavirus. I don’t have it but who wants to potentially mail germs in case I do have it? Hopefully all this ends soon but its not looking too good right now. Be safe everyone. … more

    Seafood flavor toothpaste

    By on

Our cat does not like the toothpaste! She sniffs it and walks away. The finger brush is too large in size and falls off my finger. The brush, which hasn’t been used yet, seems okay but the handle is very short.

Passable, but there are better options

    By on

As is the case with most other reviewers here, my cat noticeably prefers the chicken-flavored toothpastes that have poulty digest as an ingredient over the seafood-flavored toothpaste included in this kit. I would strongly recommend buying this brand's poultry-flavored toothpaste (if it happens to be available when you order it) or the US-made version by another brand on this site instead of buying this kit. Yes, the included toothbrush is unique in that it is a tufted point of bristles angled so that your kitty's rear teeth can be brushed without uncomfortably strething his cheeks, but I am just as happy to use a kid's size bamboo toothbrush that I can toss in the compost after removing the As is the case with most other reviewers here, my cat noticeably prefers the chicken-flavored toothpastes that have poulty digest as an ingredient over the seafood-flavored toothpaste included in this kit. The finger brush included in this kit is a useless and goes directly in the trash. It's so wasteful, along with the plastic blister packaging, and I hate that. If it makes any difference in your decision making, Virbac's toothpastes are sold in an aluminum tube packaged inside a paperboard box, whereas the larger and less expensive US-made, poultry-flavored toothpaste is sold in a plastic tube packaged inside a paperboard box. … more

    Unknown action

Let my cat smell the paste but she walked away from me. Unsure if I did the right thing making this purchase! Will give it a try w/the toothbrush which she liked pushing her teeth against....

    Not ideal

    By on

Cat dental hygiene quite difficult--doesn't seem to like seafood flavor. Finger cover totally useless--too big. Toothbrush awkward to get into his mouth, but doable. I dread brushing my cats teeth and this has not made appreciable difference

for who take care their teeth already

    By on

I am not sure if this is the best for cats teeth. but I feel like I was too late to try to forces my cat to have a teeth cleaning training lol. she already 5 years old and I am not sure if her breeder ever clean her teeth at all her younger age. the doctor said she had some bad teeth at the back. so, I tried this product because they got a small push. but, my cat just didn't like it at all. it just got me had a really hard time to forces her to open her side of her mouth. anyways, I am sure this products is very good. is better trained them cleaning their teeth when they're kitten. then this products will be perfect.

    Cats love the toothpaste

    By on

Cats will go after the toothpaste, but no luck with finger brush or brush. 2 yr old Manx's don't like opening their mouth for brush. Maybe too old to start now, so not toothbrushing kits fault.

    Great Little Brush

    By on

The only thing I like about this package is the little toothbrush. It works great for my cat and is easy to get into her mouth to brush teeth. I wish they would sell it alone w/o the whole package for smaller price. Toothpaste did not really work for my cat because she absolutely refused to get it anywhere near her mouth. She even hates the smell of it. However, I bought CET Poultry flavored toothpaste for her and she loves that one, and it makes brushing her teeth very easy. She will run to me when she sees the toothpaste. The rubber brush is very stiff and is not very flexible...this makes it very hard to get it into the cats mouth and it does not stay on my finger.
