My cat was recently diagnosed with periodontal disease and I purchased these hoping to help prevent further problems (she has an appointment with our vet to clean things up), but she will not touch them, except to knock them off the counter where she is fed. The treats themselves are enormous, so I thought that might be the problem, but when I cut them down into quarters (to regular-cat-treat-size) she still ignored them.
Good for my cat's teeth and breath

I haven't gotten these in a while because first I couldn't find them and then there was a price increase. I'm glad to have found them again because my cat loves them and they definitely help her breath smell better, which means it's doing something good for her teeth and/or gums. I would have given five stars if some of them weren't squashed.

I first got these treats from my vet and my cats love them, after eating these treats one a day for a year, both cats have improved dental condition. They used to have to get their teeth cleaned once a year, at their last check-up vet said they could wait a year.
Both cats with teeth agree...

My cats love these treats! I hope they are chewing them long enough. I don’t give them my inherited cat. He only has front teeth so he gets other treats. He has snuck ONE... it took a while, but he ate it. That just goes to show they must taste yummy.
well, he likes them

My cat is a 19 pound Maine Coon Tabby and he has a big mouth. When I give him the Greenies dental treats, he swallows them whole without chewing and I can't see how that would do anything to help clean his teeth. Plus, with a "crunchy" treat, what exactly is getting cleaned besides the tops of their teeth? Certainly not the gumline where the gingivitis forms - and THAT'S what causes the problems. So the concept of this type of treat was intriguing to me. The treats are like little sponges in a way so when he bites down into one, it will cover his tooth all the way to the gumline and that's what supposedly helps "pull" the plaque off the teeth. We'll see. I expect they do more than the treatsMy cat is a 19 pound Maine Coon Tabby and he has a big mouth. The only thing that works!

Please bring these back! I had my cat on the large prescription dental food that you have to pick up from the vet, and he STILL swallowed those puppies whole! No chewing! He had gingivitis until I found these, the ONLY think he likes that is large enough that he has to chew it well!
My cats go beserk over these!!

I give these as a special reward for my cats when they're good (which is never because they are young Siamese) and they go bonkers over them! My one boy almost ripped one of my fingers off when I offered him one, do be careful! Not clear what they did for their teeth but they are a great incentive to encourage or reward good behavior!!
My cat loves theses!

My cat Geronimo is having some dental issues and needed a tooth pulled. My vet recommended theses. He LOVES them. At first I was kinda eh about them as I wasn't sure if he'd like them.
I had them on the kitchen counter and he carried the bag of treats from downstairs to upstairs demanding me that I give him one. He even tried to break into the bag, i added photos.
Why are they ALWAYS out of stock???
on Jun 6, 2017
My cats love these and they are great for their dental issues. But they are ALWAYS out of stock and no one can tell me why. Really need Chewy to keep them in stock or recommend an alternative as they never seem to be available.

I am disappointed because for weeks I've been trying to re - order them and they are never in stock.
I don't understand why that is.
