These are great, which is inline with the internet reviews I found on this product. I can't tell if they are helping reduce the tartar, but my veterinarian recommended I get something like this, so I am assuming that they do help in the long run. I like these because they are chewy but not so hard that I worry about chunks being swallowed unchewed. Both of my dogs LOVE them, so they must taste good! A bit spendy to give every day, as recommended on the package, but still very worth the price in my opinion.
I recently tried the brand Whimzees and was quite disappointed to find they aren’t very digestible so I’ve gone back to Virbac which I used for a long time. My dog loves them and they come in a veggie option which is great because he’s allergic to chicken. His teeth and breath seem better when he gets his daily chew!
These are great dental chews. By far the best I have purchased yet. My dog has a sensitive stomach and they are very well tolerated. We will see as time goes on if they truly make a difference.
After a couple of molar fractures, my Vet said Greenies only and these chews. My dog is 64 pd and not an aggressive chewer, but she ate the medium chew easily, maybe too easily for any benefit to her teeth. I switched to the large size and that lasted a bit longer. Not sure how much these will help keep tarter away. I try to stay away from products with corn, and this has corn.. Will probably give her one of these occasionally for variety No problems with loose stool.
My dogs love these chews and come running if they hear me open the jar I keep them in. The chews help keep their teeth clean and they are made with healthy ingredients. Win-win!
I’m not sure how these are supposed to help with dental cleaning, the bag I got was no where near the expiration date yet these “chews” are rock hard and brittle, snapping into shards when my dog tried to eat it. Would not recommend
These fit well into a treat holder so they have helped keep my Aussie's busy for a while each day. They actually chew them instead of gulping them so I am hoping that helps clean their teeth. I will most likely continue to keep them in our dental chew rotation.
The first two days. Our pup seemed to enjoy them. Now she don’t touch them at all. I’m finding them around the house
There is corn starch in these. I don't know if it's always been but the last few batches caused severe diarrhea. It took time to figure out what was causing it. My little guy was chomping on 1 a day for a good year or so and then I started seeing nothing but diarrhea and kept taking things out of the equation. Finally realized it is this that is causing it. He loves them but we are moving away from anything with corn in it. 100% no for us.
Recommended by our vet. Our dogs love them. Too soon to see if it helps the tartar on their teeth. Will definitely set up auto ship.
