    My dogs love them!

By kris on Sep 28, 2021

My youngest dog is about to turn five and is going to need his first dental cleaning soon. My vet recommended these in addition to a water additive to help keep his teeth clean in between cleanings. He won't let me brush his teeth, so I'm hoping these help! I have two other older dogs and they love them too. The only thing I don't love is the price. They're very expensive for multiple dogs.

    Better than Greenies!

By DogMom on Aug 30, 2021

These can be a bit pricey, but my vet recommended them to help with my dog's fishy breath. We were previously doing Greenies, but they didn't help with breath--I've actually smelled a difference with these! I have a 35 lb terrier/lab mix, and she's a pretty strong chewer. I buy the bag of large treats and cut them in half myself (I score them and then snap in half)--it's much more economical and I can give her a treat after each meal. She loves them, and they're harder than Greenies, so she gets a better chew out of them. I think that's partially why they help her breath. Highly recommend if you can catch a sale or don't care about price!

    Not what I hoped for

By Shan on Oct 6, 2021

I have two dogs. One is almost 9 years old. My youngest is 7 months old. Both have thrown up this chew more then a few times. It took a while to figure out it. (Had to stop anything new). I will not give this to them anymore.

    Loving these!!

By Archie on Aug 4, 2021

My dog and I absolutely love these dental chews! My vet told me my dogs teeth had a bit of tartar and I immediately looked for products that were VOHC approved. My dog is only 28 pounds but I saw someone here say that it’s better value to buy the large chews and cut them into pieces so I break each chew into three and give him a piece each day! I do brush my dogs teeth every other day, and add PlaqueOff to his breakfast everyday, but I’ve noticed such a big improvement in his teeth! I even noticed some pieces of tartar coming off! It’s not a replacement for a dental cleaning by any means but it has definitely been helping! Plus he loves these treats! He gets so excited every night when he gets My dog and I absolutely love these dental chews! Large Breed, Strong chewer approved!

By Sierra on Jul 21, 2021

I bought these as an alternating dental option for brushing teeth with the Virbac CET toothpaste, my usual dental routine for my two pitties. They are strong chewers, and can also be pretty picky. So far, they go BONKERS for these dental chews. I have never introduced my dog to other dental chews, mainly because they generally are just overpriced treat-worthy ingredients that have very little health benefit but are marketed as "teeth cleaning" dental hygiene product for dogs. So far, I can't offer much on the overall effectiveness of them, and as previously mentioned - admittedly I purchased these as a way to let my pups enjoy a few days during the week where they enjoy a chew vs. me scrubbing I bought these as an alternating dental option for brushing teeth with the Virbac CET toothpaste, my usual dental routine for my two pitties. Lol This chew lasts each of them about 5 minutes or so, and they are fairly strong - I couldn't bend and snap them myself with ease, so that was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I appreciate the limited ingredients of these and my chewers love them. These in conjunction with the alternating schedule of teeth cleaning with the $10 toothpaste makes my pups dental routine about $40/month - a surefire savings from what it would cost me to have dental cleanings done for both pups - so I consider that a win! … more

    Great chews!

By SueM on Sep 2, 2021

My daughter has these for her Golden Retriever and we tried giving one to our Keeshond. What a hit! Tucker is a little fussy about some treats, but these were a hit! Keeps our boy occupied for a bit, allows chewing to happen on something positive, so happy dog and Mom!!!

my dog loves it, but doesn’t last long.

By SnowyTheGoldenRetriever on Aug 2, 2021

My dog loves these veggiedent chews. But he gets through it in less than 2 mins. Also, this time it was received with a tear on the bag, while the shipping box was not damaged. So must’ve been like that in the warehouse. Didn’t feel comfortable giving the last bag to my dog as don’t know how long the edible products would’ve been exposed.

    size is the only downfall

By Taylor on Jul 19, 2021

My dog loves these and looks forward to his daily dental chew when going to his crate. I did, however, just switch him to the VeggieDent with Joint care. The joint care is an added bonus but my 75 lb Golden Retriever also does better with them because they’re a little larger than these normal VeggieDents, and he doesn’t scarf them down in a quick 30 seconds. Both are great products snd I would recommend to anyone! I also love that this is approved by the veterinary oral health council.

    My Dog Loves These!

By parm on Jun 17, 2021

My rescue, a Carolina Dog, was always a strong chewer. She loved to chew and we bought her all types of hard items until, at age four, our vet discovered she had broken one of her lower molars down to the roots! She had to have surgery to remove the tooth and it was over $700! I had no idea hard items were damaging to dogs' teeth! We got rid of all the hard stuff and just let her have softer items, like rope toys. Our vet recommended these chews to help keep her teeth clean and give her something safe on which to chew. If you have a strong chewer, BEWARE! I give my dog one of these every night to keep her busy. She does eat them quickly and I wish they lasted longer, but at least they will not My rescue, a Carolina Dog, was always a strong chewer. Canine Chew and tooth cleaner

By Gingersnap on Jun 15, 2021

My dog really enjoys these chews! She is a 50 pound mix and loves bones and chew toys. I am disappointed how quickly she can tear into these tho and in a few minutes, it is gone! I don’t think she has to work hard enough at it to actually give the teeth a cleaning. Seems more edible than a tartar control tool.
