    I purchased these for my Labrador Retriever, Shelley. Shelley needed a new tartar control breath freshener after the previous ones I had purchased were no longer available. Shelley inhales just about everything she ingests but she actually takes her time and chews these; chewing these treats is what I purchased these for my Labrador Retriever, Shelley. Shelley needed a new tartar control breath freshener after the previous ones I had purchased were no longer available. Shelley inhales just about everything she ingests but she actually takes her time and chews these; chewing these treats is what gives action to the freshener and the tartar removal. These treats do not have a yucky smell or texture to the human touch. I would recommend these and will be purchasing again. … more

    I have two Xolos. The hairless variety. It is very common for the hairless ones to have less than a full set of teeth. I purchased these to try to help them keep the teeth they have clean. Problem is my female (the one with the fewest teeth, she has 17), hates them and will not eat them. When I give I have two Xolos. The hairless variety. Problem is my female (the one with the fewest teeth, she has 17), hates them and will not eat them. When I give one to each dog, the female will literally walk over to the male and drop hers in front of him and walk away. He's a bit more food oriented than the female, and he will eat his AND hers. He has 21 teeth. My male's teeth will no doubt stay clean, but I still have the problem of keeping the female's teeth clean. This is the only type treat I have purchased that the female will not eat. She eats all kinds of other treats, but most of those are not specifically for teeth cleaning. … more
