Our vet prescribed this for our Belgian malinois husky girl bc she had frequent, painful ear infections. As usual, the product was a fraction of the price on chewy so I started getting it here instead. If her ears are irritated, I use this daily. If not, I use it just a couple times a month for routine Our vet prescribed this for our Belgian malinois husky girl bc she had frequent, painful ear infections. I always let her shake her head and give her a special treat afterwards to minimize her frustrations. I have 3 pitbulls who love to swim and get into a fair amount of dirt and mud. My smallest always gets alot of that dark gunky wax in one ear. 2 weeks of the directed treatment did nothing for her, started to use daily, no results. Switched brands and cleared up in 2 days. I have a gsd w/ chronic ear infections. This is my favorite remedy or “maintenance” currently. I think its less irritating than other ear cleaners!

Gets the Tough Build-up
By Janice on Jan 14, 2021
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product worked. Tip: leave it in (pet permitting) for a few minutes before gently removing wax with cotton ball. Don't forget to massage the base of the ear to loosen debris. It removed more buildup than the procedure used by the vet.

Ear cleansing soulution, recommended by my Veterinarian
By sunnyedog on Jan 10, 2021
Easy to use. I soak a cotton ball with solution, Insert into ear, massage, then repeat with a dry cotton ball to absorb excess solution. Has work fine for us, and was veterinarian recommended.

Good product
By Bellasmama on Jan 8, 2021
I bought this product because it has a drying agent. My cat is still not happy with the process, but I am happy to know her ears won't stay moist as the old ear cleaner we used had the tendency to do. This one has a pleasant fragrance and does the job it's meant to do. I follow the instructions on the bottle.

Works wonderfully
By Garboshooman on Jan 6, 2021
Virbac Epi-Otic was recommended by my cat's vet. It has helped with her overly waxy ears (post yeast infection). She does better with a cotton ball soaked in the solution, and then being applied.

Works well for oily/waxy ears
By Angus on Jan 2, 2021
This brand was recommended by our vet for our 4 mo. old poodle who has very oily/hairy ears. So far it is working great. It does have a scent but it fades pretty quickly compared to the other brand we tried! :)

works for us!!
By Chfnas19 on Dec 31, 2020
This product is the one that my Veterinarian uses. I am so glad it's on Chewy, it is a better price. I will admit my dogs ears are hard to clean, but this does a good job of loosening the debris deep in her ear. If I keep up on it like a good human, it has basically eliminated her ear issues. If I am a bad human (I don't always earn my treats...) and don't keep up on it, it helps to clean out the ear before the ear drops go in. I am working on being a better human!!!! Woof.
