Hands in the air for Vision cages

By Karin on Jun 28, 2020

I have had a couple Vision cages before. No longer had any when I rehomed an entire family of 9 canaries. The sons were in a separate cage but the parents and 5 daughters were in a large parrot cage. I ordered two super large L12 cages. Set up did take me longer than the anticipated 5-15 minutes. I ordered two super large L12 cages. Set up did take me longer than the anticipated 5-15 minutes. All in all took me several hours to set them up just right with the perches, nests, toys then catch each one and separate the daughters from the mom and dad. It has been 5 days and I am rewarded with beautiful song and happy birds. The quibbling is greatly dimished. These cages have enough length for how canaries fly latterally. I have perches spaced far enough apart so they can either fly across or up. Due to the large plastic base and how it contains seed and water, they are now far less messy! Right now they are bathing in their ample water dish. Even tho they have a beautiful blue Vision bath. Lol. Oh wait. One is in the tub now. Three are bathing at the same time! These girls! So fun to watch and hearing the boys sing. Love! I highly recommend these cages. … more

The problem is extremely cheap and poor construction of the individual parts, mainly the most important part of the structure, the wire caging. The wire is as soft as solder, will likely arrive already bent out of shape but even if not it will not slot in properly to the plastic base or connectors. This is complete rubbish and I'm shocked Chewy would sell something of such poor quality. Avoid!!! … more
