Are these able to be cut into smaller pieces without falling apart?

The medallions weigh 1 ounce, so they are small. As they are freeze-dried, they would most likely not be cleanly cut in two. Visionary Pet Foods suggest rehydrating the medallions in warm water first so that they would be easier to cut in two.
How many medallions are in a package?

The 25 ounce Freeze Dried bag contains 250 medallions. The 3.5 ounce Freeze Dried bag contains 35 medallions.

We love this

That review complaining about the sample size bag having crushed pieces is what made me want to leave this review. So weird. Anyway, in the big bag it's basically like potato chips. There are crushed ones in the bottom, and the kids don't care, they just eat the crumbs. The medallions are soft. There is also a keto kibble that isn't soft, so if you want them not to be crushable, you could get that. My pups won't have it. Personally, I break them up and then add water. My big dog can eat them without breaking them up, but when she found out that the little one gets smaller pieces she demanded the same service. :) I won't feed carbs, and I don't seem to keep up with home made, so Visionary Medallions have been a huge relief. P.S. Chewy would it kill you to let me use paragraph breaks?

Don't waste your money

I just received my order a few minutes ago. Thankfully I only ordered 1 small bag just to try. Most of the bag is powered crumbs( see photo). I really wanted to like these, trying to trim a few pandemic pounds of my little guy but unfortunately I cannot.

So far, so good!

We started keto for a neurological disorder. Today is Day 4, and he appears to be more active today. He loves this food, and he is a very picky eater. I add water to it to rehydrate. I hope in the future there are more proteins, as he has a beef allergy (and fish). This one does work for us though.
