I know these are more like candy for piggies , but when I rescued my Piggie she came from a horrible existence , she came with two other guinea pigs another female and a male . Which all were being fed cat food yes cat food & ice berg lettuce and carrots , they were never given hay, they were fed pellets from time to time but mostly the cat food & lettuce because it was cheap . It took me over 6 months to get all three to eat hay & how I did this was gave them some of these to boost their interest , then once they learned the scent of these treats I rubbed these in the hay it worked like a charm , I only have one pig left Rosie the other two named tucker & lilly has gone to the rainbow bridge about 1 yr after I rescued them . I do still buy these for Rosie but only given as a treat once a week & only 1-2 at a time , because like I said more like candy health wise .
Please please please don’t buy these for your guinea pigs. They cannot consume dairy and this is a non ingredient in these.
We have been feeding these drops for 7 years & our girls love them! Drops time at our house is 10:30 in the morning & our piggies seem to know what time it is because they are squeaking & begging right around 10:30! We have tried all the flavors & the orange are the best.
Guinea pigs should never eat dairy. They get enough vitamin c from the proper diet of hay and fresh vegetables!
Huge no for any pet. Do not feed them this. Do your own research on what’s safe PLEASE!
They taste good. The Guinea pig approves as well. Will buy again but he’s gonna have to share.
I hate to fault the product or give a bad review based on my piggy’s preference. It’s a 1 star because I can’t use them, but 5 because it’s not the product’s fault; I’m sure the product is fine but be aware that not all tastes for pigs are the same.
My guinea pigs would not eat these. They would only give a quick sniff before running away from them. Guinea pig unapproved.
The guinea pigs won't eat these, but the dogs think they're fantastic! So that's they will get used, but I won't buy them again. To be fair, my guinea pigs are snobs.
My guinea pigs sniffed the drops and ignored them. They did not even take a bite from the drops, instead, they ate the packaging. Hmm...Green and crunchy...Let's see if it tastes like timothy hay...
