Not good for pilling
Found these to be too dry to use to cover my cats medication. As a treat, he does not seem to be interested in them. However, my other cat will eat them.
Two out of three ain't bad
I got these to try as camouflage for a medication since my elderly cat was getting tired of the pill pockets I had. He likes them a lot, although it is a bit harder for me to encase the pill in the treat (the treats are a bit dryer and crumblier than actual pill pockets) than with treats designed for pills. Fortunately, he only takes 1/2 of a small pill with each dose, and I can just keep them hidden. One of my other two cats also likes these treats, but the third cat won't touch them. So, the verdict is that 2 out of 3 cats I know like them as treats, but they only work as pill concealers with very small pills.

My feline loves these! Just like moist treats, they start to dry out after opening. Vitakraft makes excellent, high products.
My cats are obsessed !
I have 3 cats, and they have their varying levels of pickiness when it comes to food and treats. These ones are unanimously loved ! I do not use them to hide pills, they are kind of a crumbly-yet-moist texture so they break super easily, but they make my cats happy and it’s all that matters to me ! I’m going to try the pumpkin recipe next. I hope they love these too !
Not good to hide pills
I purchased these because the first bullet in the description reads "Features a soft texture and tasty filling that’s purr-fect for hiding medicine and pills!" This did not work at all for me. The treats are big, so I cut one in half thinking I could slide the pill inside, but once I cut in, the treat separated into many pieces. I tried to mold it around the pill, but it wouldn't stick. My cat seems to like the taste, so if that's all you're concerned with these are fine. They are higher in calories than other treats though.
BEST OUT OF SEVERAL PILL HIDING
OUT OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS TO HIDE A PILL THAT A CANT WONT TAKE THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST.NOT 100 PERCENT BUT ITS MY BEST OPTION.
NOT for pills
While they seem to be a fine product ..... My 3 cats were not really interested. Finicky. But ..... This should NOT be advertised as something to hide pills in. Way too dry. I tried rinsing it in a little water 1st to moisten a little.....didnt help. I still had crumbs of it everywhere. After much work you can hide a pill. But the other products available are much more suited for this issue.
