My 3 rabbits would barely touch the hay though it looks nice to my human senses. They are usually good hay eaters, but not this hay. The ring treat was good but the seed sticks are way too sugar loaded for them--gave to the outside squirrels.
Previously, we got Timothy hay that was soft. While I enjoy it, because I don’t get poked, my Guinea pigs weren’t as excited. This hay is a lot more poke-y and coarse, but my Guinea pigs instantly abandoned their carrots and started munching on the hay when I brought it in. Also great that it comes with the sticks that they love! They haven’t tried the rings yet but I’ll mix some with their food later. Would recommend this bundle!
The hay we received was very coarse, dry and had a large amount of tiny particles making it very messy. Our 2 bunnies and one guinea pig were less than thrilled. I am going to have to buy them different hay and donate this, I guess.
Not too thrilled about the quality of the hay but it's getting harder to find it at a decent price and better quality anywhere these days. They seem to like the treats though.
As previously stated in other April 2022 reviews this is awful. Dry and hard. Better brands out there. Keep looking.
The description says this is second-cut timothy hay. What really is in the box is straw, it's not even first-cut timothy hay. Don't buy!
Dusty and not green in color. Slightly brownish in color. Very hard, could cause eye poke. Discontinued use and tossed it out.
