good value
By Catrina on Mar 2, 2021
I like that they are fairly hard and chewy. The dog seems to enjoy them and I think they are a good price for a freeze dry raw product.

Was great but
By Skylar on Nov 17, 2020
My yorkie used to LOVEEEE*** this but within the past 6 months of new orders the few times she has eaten it she has thrown it up within 20 minutes. I felt so bad . I don’t know why, never used to happen and never happens with anything else ! I have tried 2 bags from chewy and 1 from my holistic pet store and the same results happened. I only tried 3 different ones because I know how much she used to jump flips for it and now it makes her sick. & if she does touch it she picks out certain pieces to eat and won’t touch other ones it’s so weird . I gave up putting it out .. I hope they didn’t change something :(

My dog loves it! But...
By Jay92 on Oct 20, 2020
I have been feeding this for quite awhile and my dog loves it. Occasionally, I get a bag that the meat tends not to be quite red but a little lighter in color and has a chemical smell unlike the other bags that I have received before. My dog will not eat anything that comes out of that bag and if I try to mix it with the other bags received, the dog leaves all the lighter colored nibs in the bowl. This only happens rarely that I receive a bag like this. I have read reviews about dogs not eating this and that may be the reason. It should have a deep red tint when received.

Our 2nd VE Bag
By DoodleMom on Sep 26, 2020
We first tried the chicken flavor of this same product. We use it as a training snack for our goldendoodle puppy. I wanted a freeze-dried, raw snack - none of that starchy, biscuit stuff. Our puppy likes this flavor too. And it’s just right for a training treat. Comparative to the chicken formula, this beef flavor feels less dry, at least fresh out of the pack, brand new. Perhaps it’s just the nature of the meat as poultry is drier. We love VE; just wish it was at least a tad bit less expensive but appreciate at least that it’s in a 1 lb size as opposed to tinier quantities that run out quickly being - pricey as they are too.

Using as treats
By Terriermom on Jan 5, 2021
I use these little nibs for healthy training treats. My puppy loves them and buying as food if more economical than bags of treats.

Lovely dog food
By WeimMom on Sep 12, 2020
But..I was looking for a healthy high value treat with few calories. This is great for small dog that you want to feed raw. But they were not large enough for my dog, he inhaled and barely tasted. I am constantly training, I should have understood this really dog food.

Opal loved this treat! She’s my 14 month Great Dane. We’ve been trying to find a raw diet for her, but they are all too expensive...

We use as a high value Training Treat
By SammyTheMiniBull on Aug 8, 2020
Great for our puppy. Actually saw this on Puppy Culture (training program we use with our bull terrier breed) :) Our puppy likes these treats and looks fwd to having them during training. Sometimes we also add a couple of these treats into his puzzle toys with his regular kibble, and every time we do, he seems to be even more attracted to it!
